Great lead battle in the Castle Combe Special GT series , 8 August 1990, between George Douglas (Skoda Rover V8) the MG 6R4s of David Appleby, Sam Nelson and Rob Dennis and the Mk1 Escort of Nigel Mustill with it's Sierra Cosworth RS500 engine. Behind them an eclectic mix of Imps, Davrians, Escorts, a Sierra Cosworth and even a Dutton. A great series at this point with great diversity of entries.

this is my Mk1 Zakspeed replica which is very nearly ready to go back on the road - It's not a true rep as it's running a V8.
I took this footage last week. The plugs have oiled up hence the misfiring but a quick clean will soon sort that out.
