1996 Cougar XR7 - PI Build/Swap w/ Magnaflow Exhaust System
This is a video of the start up of my built up ported PI engine, the Exhaust system, and a short drive off. This build took about a year in total, gathering parts, rebuilding the heads and putting it all together. I still need to get it Dynotuned but that will be for later on. It runs on 94 octane as I want to avoid pinging until i get a tune done. It was fun to see it all come together. Was a lot of work but I never gave up on the project. The Audio level is different in some clips as I used a different camera for them.





92 5.0 HO cougar 0-60
1992 5.0 HO 25th anniversary cougar 0-100 mph. This is a bone stock car. The cougars from this era were known to have a restrictive Exhaust system as well as a power-leeching smog pump. I plan on putting a full cat-back Exhaust on it.
