Worst Figure 8 Crash @ Slinger Super Speedway Ever!!!!! 9/11/2011
This is a video of the worst figure 8 Crash Ever @ Slinger Super Speedway. Ryan Lovald just bought Shane the Shark Beckers car and this was the first race racing that car. Ryan Lovald hit Rick Bruskiewicz right behind the Right Front Tire and Ryan Rolls. BOTH DRIVERS WALKED AWAY. You can here a scream right as the hit happens. That was Nicki, Ryans Fiance. You can see a black smoking dot to the right of Ryans car as well that is his motor, the motor came out of the car. Ryan was wearing his INTERSECTION CONNECTION shirt he just made up as well. That was a connection. Ryans knee was hurting and Rick had a small cut. What happened with me in the race was going into turn 3, Bill Shavlik ran into me and knocked my car into neutral which you will here on the in car camera video, I then tried to move up the track to get out of the way and Scott Goetzke was going around me which I didnt see, We joked before the race about hitting eachother and me getting even from the beginning of the year, I never knew he was there. He then slammed me a few times before spinning out and hitting the rollover ramp. I would have done the same thing to him if the tables were turned there so I understood why he hit me back. I then pulled up next to him at the start finish line. We talked and I explained what happened in my car. Scott understood and we shook hands. No big deal there. Its funny now cause everyone thought myself and Scott were fighting but we were really just talking about what actually happened and getting on the same page. I want to thank everyone that was a fan of the cop car. I will most likely not be driving it next year and it is sold. I know pretty much everyone just likes the car and doesnt even know who I am so you will be happy to know it will be coming back as the cop car next year, just with a different driver. It was a blast and I might do this again in the future but for now I'm done. I want to thank my sponsors that have been with me from the beginning of me racing. VSCC Prescott Vintage Speed Hill Climb
The gem in the crown of summer Vintage Sports-Car Club events, 250 Pre-war sports and racing cars were in action over the weekend at the historic hill climb venue in Gloucestershire. The ultimate VSCC weekend; there is no other event that sums up the ethos of The Vintage Sports-Car Club because of the relaxed atmosphere, superb cars, hard competition, great company and a superb location.

Slinger '11 - They Walked Away, Again.
This being the hardest crash I have ever seen on a race track, bigger than the crash on May 1, 2011 as seen in my video "Slinger '11 - And They Walked Away". The 20 driven by Ryan Lovald and the 17 driven by Rick Bruskiewicz met at the intersection during the figure eight race at Slinger Superspeedway on September 11, 2011. Both Drivers walked away under their own power. The hit was so violent the engine was ripped out of the number 20 landing 20 feet from the car as it lay on it side.

Scary Big Rig Race Crash June 2002 Calgary. (Crash at the 2:00 mark)
One of the scariest moments I caught in all my 25 years covering racing at Race City. Look for #76, the star and stripes Peterbilt get pinched and wrecked into the corner three wall at the 1:59 mark. Fortunately the driver suffered only minor injuries despite having to be rescued by safety crew with jaws of life. The destruction was staggering, however the truck cockpit stayed together due in part to the construction and thought given to protecting the driver. The race was red flagged in less than five seconds, Race City recue crew was on his truck in less than 30 seconds. I will follow this up with an interview with Mike (the racer) I conducted a year later...

The Air Intake looks like a Formula 1 Intake and the engine revs over 10.000rpm. Absolutly Awesome, the Cars wight was under 600KG and the Power of the engine nearly 300Hp.
Another Great Hill Climb Racer - George Plasa - died this year, he was the record breaker of several hill climbs in Europe. Please hold him in memory with his great Drivingstyle and his Bmw Judd V8 Engine. (Formula 1 like engine)
1964 Cobra Racing at Laguna Seca
Jim Bouzaglou tackles the field at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the 2011 Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion. An incident with another Cobra on his first lap leaves him having to claw his way back through the field to regain position. This is an edited version of his first of two races from Saturday, August 20, 2011. The cars in this race are all part of Group 7A, 1963-1966 GT cars over 2500cc. Jim's car is #59, a 1964 Cobra 289 USRRC Competition CSX2484.

You might have missed these ! Shelsley Walsh September 2011 Weekend
The Esses were a bit slippery over the Weekend ! Some of the incidents that occurred over the September Meetings at Shelsley Walsh. A bit of Ferrari Fun, Sprites getting Sprightly, Tail Wagging, Cars kicking up the dust and attacking the Banks, Fishtailing Porsche's and some cars even went a bit 'Over the Top'.
