Was given the opportunity to do a project for the Company where we portray how we are capable of building 1000 RWHP race engines. This is Part 3 of 4 total videos of this project. Please take the opportunity to watch all videos (its a little over 40 mins total of video!) to see my work and learn a little about engine builds hehe.
Shot with the T2i with the 50mm f1.8 lens. Had turn it up to f2.0 in most (if not all) the shots just because the Bokeh overpowered a lot of the scenes. Probably should of went higher in some scenes as well. Edited was done in FCP with a very minor color correction.
Music is by an Artist named Winkz. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your work and please support this guy. I will definitely be using more of his songs in future videos because they are simply great songs.
Check out his page: http://www.myspace.com/winkzmusic

Thanks for checking out the Video and as mentioned, please check out Parts 1, 2, and 4.

How To Torque Cylinder Head Bolts - EricTheCarGuy
How To Torque Cylinder Head Bolts - EricTheCarGuy
Well this was a fun one to make. I believe I covered everything but if you feel I haven't please let me know in the comments below as well as any tips you might have to add as well. I'm not trying to make a big deal about "pound feet" or "foot pounds" I'm just trying to put that out there, the important thing is that you get the proper torque and get the job done right in my opinion, what you decide to call it is up to you.

Turbo "S71" Olds Engine Build Video BTR Performance Part 3 V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com/EngineDVD - This is the third in a multi-part series covering the custom 422 cubic-inch stroker engine build performed by master engine builder Bill Trovato at BTR Performance for our turbocharged 1971 Olds project called the "S71". In this installment, Trovato discusses rear main seals and installing JE pistons onto Lunati H-Beam connecting rods using spiral locks. Although this video series features and Olds engine, the valuable, race-proven techniques shown by Trovato apply to any performance engine build.
Engine rebuild part 1
We are rebuilding a GM 350 5.7 engine. Now in this particular case we are also going to upgrade the engine to a 383 6.0 This is called building a "stroker" motor. In other words we are increasing the "stroke" of the engine which increased the torq & horsepower.
If you are able & wanting to rebuild an engine, this video should give you a good overview of what to do. If you are having someone else build an engine for you, you will be able to see what's involved in the process

BMW TwinPower Turbo Engines CGI animation
BMW has released a fancy CGI animation promo for their BMW EfficientDynamics engine family featuring TwinPower turbo.
The video starts off with an android of sorts virtually building an engine. It goes on to demonstrate BMW's "Perfect Cylinder" combustion via turbo, Valvetronic and direct injection technology.
Now this is where things get interesting as the android continues to build a four cylinder engine mounted in a vehicle's engine bay longitudinally. BMW loyalists might want to look away at this part as the android then takes another 4-cylinder turbo and mounts it transversely. This indicates a front wheel drive vehicle, which BMW has already announced, but not without an apprehensive response from purists. They fear the move will dilute BMW's ability to make cars with great driving dynamics - a characteristic the BMW brand has become known for.
The video continues with the modular engine being expanded to 6-cylinder and then it's cut in half as a 3-cylinder and fitted to a new smaller vehicle presumably the upcoming i3.
