1967 GTX Survivor vs Corvette
Unrestored 1967 440 GTX drag racing for the first time in 38 years. This 1967 440 4 speed Plymouth GTX was stored in a warehouse in 1973. I purchased it in 1998 and was the first person to drive it on the road since '73. I put it in a shed awaiting restoration 9 years ago. On the day this video was taken (October 30, 2011) it literally had dirt dauber nests and cob webs still in the engine compartment.

1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 Coupe
1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 Coupe ID # 194379S710407 1st Owner 1969-1973, 2nd owner 1973-2003 and current owner from 2003 - ? It is mostly original car with rebuilt mechanics and recent paint. This was for sure an original Big Block Corvette and quite possibly an original L89, dealer made into an L88, but with no documentation. A very correct and road worthy car.

1968 Badwin Motion Camaro L/88 idling
My Facebook Page - http://tinyurl.com/6385qw2 Blog - http://dtrockstar1.blogspot.com/ For more information on this show, please visit http://tinyurl.com/6ykrpqo Chris Ashworth records a very rare Camaro: a 1968 Baldwin Motion Phase III. It is equipped with the 427 L/88 engine, rated at 600 horsepower. It could run the quarter mile in the low 10's at over 120 miles per hour. Only 4 Phase III Camaros are known to have been built in 1968, making it one of the rarest muscle cars. You hear the car idling, which sounds amazing. This is seen at the annual Eyes On Design car show.

corvette L88 engine dyno
L88 engine clone for my 69 corvette. actually a more streetable version that runs on pump gas : ZL1 cam , 11:1 compression ratio, dual plane GM intake , holley 800cfm. 503hp at 6300rpm. the Dyno in the video has a big brake (2500hp). the engine should show some more hp on smaller Dyno. computer simulation shows that this engine would peak 570hp with suitable open plenum race intake manifold (victor or similar) and 900 cfm holley
