2013 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ Z Spec
Check out this sporty little sedan from our buddies at GM. This here is the new 2013 Chevy Sonic LTZ Z-Spec. Wearing a nice satin white tux for the show here at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit Michigan. It too has been upgraded with some tasteful accents like the lower profile front and rear fascia and subtle smooth ground effects, There is also some performance goodies packed under there like sport suspension and Wilwood brakes. There is also a badge on the deck lid that states "turbo" so i would assume that it has some boogie to it as well.

The Sonic replaces the old and outdated Aveo with a much better looking and performing package. The 2012 Chevy Sonic comes in 2 different body styles, a 4-door sedan style, and a 5-door hatchback which has some European flavor to it. On the inside the interior is pretty nice and there is ample room for adults.
For a subcompact car the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic is a lot of fun to drive. There are 2 different engines but the one to get is the turbocharged 1.4 liter 4-cylinder that produces 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is excellent at 29 MPG in the city and 40 MPG on the highway. The base model Chevy Sonic costs $13,735 and the top of the line 2LZ hatchback costs $18,495. But no matter which Sonic you purchase a few things are for certain, you will be getting a great looking car with wonderful fuel economy. And that is the real value of the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.

This review consists of explaining many unique features and aspects of the overall car, complete with a demonstration of the engine, through the start up process, which in this case does include a remote start demonstration. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic LT
This Sonic has the 138 HP 1.8L DOHC 4 Cyl & it's paired to a 6 speed auto.
The Sonic has quite a large engine considering it's a sub-compact. Though I feel this to be a rather unrefined engine. A tad on the buzzy side & somewhat excessively noisy at idle which concerns me. Not sure if it's this car or normal operation of this engine. It's quite comfortable up in front but the back seat is off limits for tall passenger. I really hope running into the hatch version next.
