G8 Designs Aftermarket Stereo Installation Kit for the Pontiac G8 - Demo Video
HOW MUCH DOES THIS SETUP COST? HOW DO I ORDER THIS? Read on below for details... Our G8 Designs installation kit with full instructions is now $275, and the Folcik AC controller is $375, so a total of $650, and that includes FREE US shipping. Our stereo install solution is essential to ditching that dated OEM head unit, which was designed way back in the early/mid 2000's! It's 2014 now, and the major manufacturers such as Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Alpine, and many others are putting out some incredible new stereo technology, and now YOU as a G8 or Holden series 1 owner can take advantage of that! Once you get our install kit and controller, simply pick the head unit of your choice, as well as any peripherals or accessories you may wish to add (such as an XM Sat tuner, the steering wheel control module, parking brake bypass (for video in motion), smartphone adapters, or GPS module) and you can "update your G8" with the latest double-din technology and improved sound quality! Order TODAY! FOR AUSSIES ONLY: We have a special deal to save our Australian customers money on shipping too! You have two options: OPTION A: $650 for the kit AND the Folcik AC controller, and $60 for AUS shipment. (Total price: $710 US) OR OPTION B: $650 for the kit AND the Folcik AC controller, and $50 for the Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control module (to retain the use of your steering wheel controls), and $60 AUS shipment. (Total price $760 US) These two options simply depend on whether you want the Axxess steering wheel control module or not. WHAT DOES THE KIT COME WITH? It comes with our custom aluminum laser-cut mounting bracket, our special plastic fascia, the mounting system for the AC controller, and all of the hardware, harness (wires labeled for easy connections), antenna adapter, and various connectors you will need. Our instructions come to you in PDF format. Our kit is EASY to install, thanks to the design, and our very comprehensive set of instructions, with lots of full color photos and graphics that take you step by step through the entire install, and which give you lots of technical tips that you'd have to spend hours figuring out otherwise (or pay hundreds to an installer to figure out). We've done all the "figuring out" for you. You can easily do this installation in an afternoon with simple hand tools (Phillips screwdriver, cutters, and wire stripper/crimper). Secondly, our installation kit is plug and play. The great thing is that you don't have to butcher your original equipment wiring to get it to work. You can easily put your old system back in if you ever decide to sell your car (but why would you sell a G8?!). To ORDER or email us: g8designsfl@gmail.com FOR DETAILED INFO ON OUR PRODUCTS, CONTINUING UPDATES, TECH TIPS, CUSTOMER INSTALLS, TESTIMONIALS, AND HELPFUL TECHNICAL INFO, visit our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/g8designs and click "LIKE" This video shows our new G8 Designs aftermarket installation kit for the Pontiac G8, and the series 1 Australian Holden Commodore, Senator, Omega, and Calais (with compatible center consoles). This install kit allows you to "update your G8" and ditch the dated, limited OEM sound system and install any double-din head unit! Take advantage of all the sophisticated features modern day stereos offer, to enhance your G8 driving experience. With an aftermarket sound system, you can dramatically improve the sound quality of your OEM speakers, or add amps, subwoofers, play DVDs, play streaming video or audio content over your system, and add smartphone app integration with the convenience and safety of a large touchscreen interface.

Pontiac G8 - Kelley Blue Book's Review
FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS CHECK OUT http://www.kbb.com/kbb/NewsAndReviews/VideoLibrary.aspx When describing the quintessential American sedan, car enthusiasts no-doubt mention V8 engines and rear-wheel drive. So it is surprising that Pontiac, General Motor's supposed performance division, hasn't offered that powertrain combination for years. Classic car fans can now rejoice: the Pontiac G8 is a thoroughly modern car that harkens back to the rear-wheel-drive glory days of American sedans. Having been out of the rear-drive V8 game for a while, Pontiac found inspiration in Australia where high-power sedans have thrived for decades. Essentially a re-badged Australian-market sedan, the G8 delivers a much-needed performance punch for Pontiac, in both V6 and V8 flavors. Pontiac G8 GT and GXP - Review / Transformation
This is a video review of a Pontiac G8 GT with Dave "DuBob" Richie. He's a former owner of a modified 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, which is one of the nicest Grand Prixs in the country and won 1st place in several club contests. Dave is an active member on ClubGP and G8 Board. We definitely had some fun with this one, so I hope you'll enjoy it. p.s. watch past the credits for some bloopers!

2008 Dodge Charger R/T vs. 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=124883?tid=e dmunds.il.home.photopanel..3.* Cars like the new 2008 Pontiac G8 GT and 2008 Dodge Charger R/T were once supposed to be every American's birthright. Brawny, V8-powered, relatively affordable rear-drive cruisers that can blow through a couple of big Western states in an afternoon at 90 mph — their drivers staring at the horizon through Ray-Bans, steering with one hand and smoking a Pall Mall with the other.

Pontiac G8 GT LOUD sounds!
Here is a ridiculously loud Pontiac G8 that I was fortunate enough to ride in on the way to today's (July 1, 2012) Caffeine and Octane car show. This car features too many upgrades to list: Ported/polished heads, aftermarket camshaft, Exhaust cutouts, and much more! I mounted my Cybershot DSC-H70 to the bumper and the results were impressive! My apologies for the camera's wrist strap flying around in front of the lens... Enjoy and stay tuned for more of this G8, in addition to plenty of footage from C&O! http://www.triplexmotorsports.com Made a couple of friendly pulls in the wife's G8 with a buddy's new Challenger he recently bought. 4th gear was giving him trouble, so we didn't get to get the ideal 40-130MPH pulls we wanted to do, but fun nonetheless... 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 - 6.4L Hemi, Exhaust, tires/wheels. 2009 Pontiac G8 GT - American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive pulley, DBA drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads, throttle body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom Dyno tune - 371RWHP and 387RWTQ. 2009 PONTIAC G8 GT SLOTTED ROTORS - ACCELERATION/BRAKE TEST!
http://www.triplexmotorsports.com Timelapse of the DBA drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads installation. At a relaxed pace, it took about an hour, including application of the non-friction heat resistant compound. Afterwards, took the car out just to see how it would do from 0-60-0 MPH. Car wouldn't hook up on the first two launches, then hooked well and stopped great on the 3rd attempt. Total cost for rotors and pads was about $1000. REMATCH: 2012 CHALLENGER SRT8 6.4L vs. 2009 PONTIAC G8 GT
http://www.triplexmotorsports.com Many of you will recall the initial matchup between the wife's 2009 Pontiac G8 GT & a buddy's 2012 Dodge Challenger 392 along with the horrible problems he experienced with the transmission in his brand new car. Since the car was well within warranty, he fought with Chyrsler to fix the transmission properly so that wouldn't occur again. After several confrontations with them and money out of pocket, he finally just handled the situation himself and upgraded quite a few of the components along the way. Did one pull from 40-130MPH and a second pull or 25-145MPH. 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 - 6.4L Hemi, cat back Exhaust, Spec clutch, tires/wheels. 2009 Pontiac G8 GT - American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive pulley, DBA drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads, throttle body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom Dyno tune - 371RWHP and 387RWTQ.
