1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Restoration Slideshow ~ start to finish

1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Restoration Slideshow ~ start to finish. I’m really glad I took all of these photos, not only for the snapshot in time, but also for saving all of the great memories along the way. I found the car for sale in the local paper and was lucky enough to be the first one there. Towing it home was the first step; two years of weekends later, I was left with a huge smile on my face.

Junkyard-Rescue 1969 Mustang Mach 1! - Roadkill Ep. 66
An abandoned Mach 1 is a dream find! In this episode of Roadkill powered by Dodge, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan head to Colorado Auto & Parts in Englewood, Colorado, and visit the Corns family—builders of the crazy radial-Cessna-powered 1939 Plymouth truck you’ve seen all over the Internet and in Roadkill magazine. Colorado Auto is a giant you-pull-it yard with heritage back to 1959—with a good stash of vintage cars that have been there for decades. One of them was a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that had been melting into the ground since 1980. But 37 years of neglect are not daunting to Roadkill, so the guys figure out how to get it running and driving. First, they’ve got to deal with 37 years of raccoon poop, which is just part of bringing the Disgustang into the Roadkill fleet of project cars. 1970 Boss 302 Restoration!
This is a photo slideshow of just about all the pictures we took of the four year restoration of our 1970 fastback Mustang boss 302. The Mustang is actually a cloned boss 302 with correct shock tower bracing, and staggered shocks, painted calypso coral and has a 351 cleveland motor in it. The car never left our garage once except to be sandblasted, the rest of the work was all done by my Dad and I!
