1986 Chevy 305 V8 PARTIAL ENGINE OVERHAUL
***I realize I didn't need to torque the timing cover bolts down, I just
did it for the vid, also the start up at the end of the vid was NOT the
first start up.*** This is a 1986 Chevy C10. We only did a partial
overhaul, just a new cam, lifters, water pump, timing chain, gears, a new
gas tank and different 4-barrel carb was also installed, and just some

Chevy 305 Small Block Removal and Complete Disassembly
I guess it was just time for an upgrade! If you go back two videos, you can
see the new engine. Its a performance 350, so it will definately be better
anyway. I'm working at putting the parts on the new engine, and I'll have a
video up of that very soon. Also, *Sorry for the bad video quality at the
beginning* It was recorded with an iPhone. About 1 year ago, we did a
partial rebuild to this engine, new timing gears, cam, lifters, and some
small things, as the engine wasnt operating properly.

305 Chevy running on Engine Stand - Test Run
Finally got home built portable engine stand up and running. Stock 78 305.
Should be putting in next week, big ol' comp cam and double hump heads to
see if i can spin a bearing.
Engine Rebuild class (the engine WORKS!!)
Our nasty Chevy 350 runs.
Motor: Chevy 350, 4 bolt main, .30 over,
Left head: 350 head, Right head: Chevy 305.
History: Came from a local junk yard, all bearing were fried, rings shot.
Oil vally was painted a pretty gold (old racer trick to make the oil flow
better : Didn't work)
Last owner just frankenstein it together.
Goal: needed to fire-up and runs for a few secs.

383 Stroker First Start!

First start of my new 383 Stroker. This will be going into my 1980 vette.
Here are the specs:
1988 350 hydraulic roller block. 4 bolt main, 1pc RMS. Bored .030 over.
Eagle 383 stroker nodular cast crank, lightened and internally balanced
Eagle forged 6" connecting rods
Forged and coated Mahle flat top pistons
7qt Moroso pan kicked out for clearance. Moroso pump and pickup.
Edelbrock 2204 cam lift .539/.548 duration 296/300
64cc Edelbrock Aluminum E-tec heads, 170cc int.
Crane Cam Gold Race extruded full roller aluminum rocker arms 1.5 ratio
Edelbrock hardened pushrods
Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder hydraulic lifters
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake
Headers to be determined...
Final CR 11.0:1. Power expectations around 500hp/500tq
Built 305 367.2 hp 1984 camaro
pictures of my newly built 305, .555, .533 lift jegs hydraulic cam, 312,
322 adv. duration, 1.6 proform roller rockers, ported edelbrock performer
intake , holley 750 double pumper, hedmen hedders, 9.5:1 pistons, 5.7 inch
rod, clevite 77 main and rod bearings, fel-pro gaskets, 5140 billet steel
crank, 367.2 hp at the crank, going into my 1984 z28 temperarily
