1927 Ford: Double-Trouble -- /BIG MUSCLE
• Gordon Tronson
In the world of hot-rodding there are few cars that are going to leave as
big an impression as this - the 1927 Ford Model T custom simply known as
"Double-Trouble". It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated
from 1.5-inch tube. Is powered by two 4.6-liter modular V8s from Ford with
four, count 'em, FOUR Superchargers for
an approximate power output of around 1,200 hp. It also utilizes the
rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar. It's a rolling
a Hot Wheels car and a masterpiece of engineering that is sure to make all
your naughty bits tingle.

The Tow Test! - Top Truck Challenge 2013
Purchase the Top Truck Challenge DVD here!
This is the only event in TTC's seven-event repertoire that doesn't require
mud bogging, rockcrawling, or deep water navigation. Nonetheless, this
kickoff event instills fear in competitors because it has the potential to
annihilate weak components. The Tow Test is like a truck pull that drank a
case of energy drinks. It takes place on a dirt hill that climbs
approximately 13 feet in elevation over its 150-foot length and it has a
maximum angle of approximately 16 degrees. Each competitor's rig was
fastened to a 36,000-pound cement mixer and each competitor was allowed one
pull. There was no time limit and a pull was completed when forward
momentum ceased or the front axle of the cement mixer crossed the finish
line. This event favors heavy rigs with big power and grippy tires.

Boss Nine Engine [S4 Ep12-2]
Today on GEARZ, Stacey takes a look at one of the most incredible engines
that Ford ever built, the boss 429. But instead of leaving you WISHING you
could have one, he shows you where you can actually GET one... the
legendary Jon Kaase. After that he rolls the V8 Interceptor, Cougar back
into the shop and gives you 780 reasons why this car is called the
Interceptor. With all that new-found room under the hood. Stacey stuffs in
a 520ci, 780 horsepower, Boss Nine engine
and a 6speed manual transmission to back it up. If you didn?t think modern
performance parts would fit in a classic muscle car, this show proves they
can! But there's more to it than that, it's the rebirth of Ford's hemi and
finally an answer to all those Ford fans who have wondered what could have
been if the Boss engine had continued. The Boss V8 Interceptor is in the
