If you are looking for a perfect rare car here it is 1 of 1. Not much to say but this car is trailer queen as you can see by the pics. Super straight all original I am even thinking it has never even been painted. If you look through the pics you can see all the information on the Marti as well as window sticker. This is a DSO survivor I think the mileage is original but is being sold as exempt. Dealer installed air. AZ Car. Runs, drives & looks like new! This would be a high dollar Barrett Jackson car! 1969 Ford Cobra 428 SCJ Drag Pack Muscle Car - Torino Fairlane Talladega Cyclone
I thought you'd like a look at this 1969 Ford Cobra. This particular car is equipped with a balance and blueprinted 428 Super Cobra Jet. It also has the drag pack with a four-speed tranny and 4.30 rear gears. It's looking real tough in black on black and resembles Ford's Nascars from the time. In March 1969, the Mustang Mach I was named "The quickest four-person production car" ever tested by Car Life Magazine, earning it a chapter in the history of automotive enthusiasts and securing its legacy for the future.
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach I Drag Pack Super Cobra Jet has a 427 4 bolt main engine block with 428 crank and rods. The reason I opted for the 427 block is because of the 4 bolt mains and a little secret that few folks know. The 428 blocks cracked on the # 2 main web; thus, it let the engine lose oil pressure resulting in catastrophic failure. Even the guys that campaigned the 428Cobra Jet engine for Ford Motor Company did not run 428 blocks. The engine is balanced and blueprinted. The car was rotisserie restored.
