Cadillac recently unveiled the 2011 CTS Coupe, the latest and most dramatic of the brands series of new designs to reach production. Slated to arrive in the spring of 2010, the CTS Coupe is a new luxury sports coupe designed to become the centerpiece of the brands revised lineup. The Coupe joins the CTS Sport Sedan, the 556-horsepower CTS-V and new CTS Sport Wagon as the foundation of Cadillacs lineup. 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Nürburgring Lap
The powerful 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe laps the Nürburgring as if it was born to be there. The CTS-V handles surprisingly well despite its weight, but a gentle powerslide can quickly turn into a horrible accident. Driving the CTS-V Coupe is certainly a thrilling experience, especially on the Green Hell. One of the fastest American cars on the market today is also one of the most fun. I make a few mistakes in this lap, but I think it illustrates how fine the line between control and chaos is in this car. No damage, but certainly some close calls. The idea wasn't a flawless lap, but rather a fun and exciting one. I think the CTS-V coupe did a good job of accomplishing that.
