Classic Cougar Pickin' with Scott Taylor (Part I)
On our trip to AZ, we paid a visit to Scott Taylor to have a look at his collection of Cougars. Scott is a well-known Cougar enthusiast, is the registrar for 428 Cougars, and has a sizable collection of classic Mercury Cougars. Many of his project cars are for sale (most of the cars shown in this video). Mercury Cougar - American Muscle Car
An excellent TV show featuring the classic Mercury Cougar. They cover all the classic years, and talk about all the different engines and option packages you could get. Only a couple minor mistakes (they say the that XR-7 package included a 4-speed stick, then show an automatic shifter in one... derrr) but overall a very nice overview of these cars.

This classic car is one of the largest two doors coupe ever made with almost 19 feet long. This video shows 1974 Gran Torino Elite and 1975 1976 Elite. In '75, the word Elite became a brand on its own. These giant personal luxury cars were once sailing highways and now became relics of a past where size mixed with style was a must. This bodystyle was the same one as the Mercury Cougar and the Thunderbird of the same year. The only difference was the front end and the shape of the opera window. This model was mainly competing against the Chevrolet Monte Carlo of its time.
