132719 / 1968 Plymouth GTX HEMI
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/ctvmjzr Chrysler worked hard to position the Plymouth GTX as a luxurious, high-performance alternative to the inexpensive muscle cars at the other end of the scale. Available with all the pavement-twisting horsepower you could get in the more basic models, but with a ton of luxury features that could be added to create one-of-a-kind vehicles that would suit anybody's taste. And in the case of this loaded, Hemi-powered maroon GTX that still carries its original, matching-numbers engine, an incredible combination of performance and comfort that you just couldn't find anywhere else. In addition, it carries a transmission cooler up front, which is extremely rare, and the Burgundy Metallic paint was a one-year-only paint. Even our resident GTX expert, who has owned and restored dozens of these cars, has never seen a Hemi GTX in this color. This is definitely a very special car.

1970 Plymouth Road Runner Classic Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Let's not waste any time on this brilliant green 1970 Road Runner. It's a 440 with a Six Pack, and it's probably the fastest car we have in the shop right now. It has been given a recent restoration, and the condition of the body and undercarriage is jaw-dropping. This is an off-the-charts amazing car. Why have a Road Runner without the high-impact color? The lime green paint is stunning. The straight, clean and solid body is wave free and rust free. All of the gaps, margins, panels, and door and trunk lips are clean, just the way you want them. The flat black hood and dust decal stripes along the flanks have been expertly installed. The chrome and stainless is extremely clean, and looks appropriate on the car. Honestly, it jumps out at you in the photos, doesn't it? Under the hood you'll find the 440 Six Pack engine, fully restored and highly detailed. The casting number on the motor is 2536430.10. That big air cleaner looks intimidating covering those three carburetors, and is properly detailed with a fresh coat of paint and a correct decal set. Take off that air cleaner and check out the Six Pack Holley carbs, as well as the Edelbrock intake. This Road Runner carries no performance-robbing accessories like power steering or power brakes—this is a man's car all the way through. Details like the radiator, Mopar battery, and Road Runner horn look to be brand new. The transmission is a 727 driving the 8.75" rear with 3:73 gears. The rust free, patch free floors are covered in the same paint color as the body, and looks tidy and clean. The suspension features new ball joints, sway bar links and new shocks. The springs have been painted and look brand new. The frame members have visible stamped part numbers, that's how clean they are. O2 sensors, a new gas tank, new fuel lines and new brake lines were also included in the restoration. The drum brakes stop the car confidently, although you need to give the pedal a good shove just like any car with manual brakes. A stainless steel Exhaust system with Dynamax mufflers has been recently installed that gives the big 440 a deep voice that doesn't get obnoxiously loud when all six barrels are wide open. Optional Dog Dish hubcaps sit on body matched painted wheels. The black and silver interior is simply spectacular, and surprisingly it goes very nicely with the green bodywork. The seats, door panels, carpets, headliner and the dash are all in great shape. The standard gauges are present, as well as an aftermarket column mounted tach and dual aftermarket water temperature and oil gauges mounted under the dash. A bench with a column-shifted automatic saves some weight. In back, the painted trunk has a new mat as well. Beautifully finished inside and out, it's ready to show at high-level events where it might be the subject of considerable speculation. This is just a cool car in great colors that is neck-snapping fast. What more do you want? Call today! 7 Days a Week 248-974-9513 This will NOT last!!! www.vanguardmotorsales.com

133023 / 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/76lfcgh Envisioned by its owner as the perfect mix of classic muscle car attitude and first class modern performance, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is one of the finest Mopar pro-tourers we've ever featured! This Road Runner's complete rotisserie restoration began when Steve Koepke of Classic Ventures in Woodstock, Illinois meticulously stripped its solid original body, welded up a set of high quality quarters and block sanded every one of its facets until he had a smooth, consistent canvas. Once that canvas was fully prepped from top to bottom, a slick coat of Charcoal Gray urethane was expertly applied under bright red, horizontal pin stripes and buffed to the kind of brilliant wet-look shine that can only be achieved with today's advanced paint technology. The result is one super slick Mopar muscle car which wraps brutal performance in killer good looks! Raise the wide, Charcoal hood and you'll find a killer 500 cubic inch monster block which takes this Mopar from 'very appealing' to 'MUST HAVE'. At the top of that engine, a simple chrome breather funnels wind from a re-usable filter element to a giant Demon 850 carburetor that's juiced by fresh stainless fuel lines. At the base of that carburetor, an Indy dual plane intake sends a rich air/fuel mixture into aluminum Indy 440EZ-1 cylinder heads that are equipped with both Crane Cams hydraulic roller lifters and Harland Sharp roller rocker arms. Those heads are bolted to a familiar 440 block that's been bored 0.30 over and equipped with a complete Eagle stroker kit which includes an Eagle steel crank, Eagle H-beam connecting rods, SRP pistons with Speed Pro rings and Clevite bearings. The car's massive 11 to 1 compression is managed by a Competition hydraulic roller camshaft that's hooked to a Cloyes timing chain. And spent gases are efficiently expelled through a slick set of TTI ceramic coated long tube headers. Fire is supplied by an MSD Pro-billet distributor which shoots sparks through high performance Taylor plug wires. And cooling comes courtesy of a heavy duty aluminum radiator which sits in front of two quick spinning electric puller fans. Behind the big bore engine you'll find a slick shifting Centerforce hydraulic clutch that's connected to a Tremec 5-speed transmission and a stalwart Ford nine inch limited slip rear end which is complete with a Strange aluminum center section, Strange axle shafts and new 3.73 gears. Naturally, the car's old-school front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension has been exchanged for a more competent independent front, four link rear set up. And that new suspension is augmented with tubular control arms, a thick front sway bar, adjustable QA1 coil over shocks, fresh power rack and pinion steering and a Wilwood brake system which includes 11 inch slotted discs at all four corners. At the center of the car, custom fabricated, and custom welded, subframe connectors ensure the buff engine's ample torque doesn't manifest itself as unfortunate twist. And at the corners of the car, power flows through a sweet set of 18 inch, solid aluminum wheels that are wrapped in aggressive 245/40 front and 285/40 rear BF Goodrich G-Force T/A radials. Open this Plymouth's big, solid doors and sit down inside a cockpit where the timeless good looks of American muscle meld seamlessly with tasteful upgrades and modern conveniences. The custom leather and suede seats, which were supplied by Addison Auto Interiors of Addison, Illinois, are firm and feel much more upscale than traditional Mopar hardware. At the bottom of those seats, fresh Maroon carpet props a chrome Hurst shifter under a faux carbon fiber pistol grip handle. In front of the seats the car's pristine Maroon dash hangs a custom gauge panel, which is complete with stylish Auto Meter American Muscle gauges, beside a remote controlled Kenwood CD player and traditional buttons for the car's heat and air conditioning system. At the sides of the seats, custom Maroon and Black door panels hang pliable armrests between fresh stainless trim, new chrome window cranks and bright chrome door handles. And in front of the driver, a familiar Mopar Tuff Wheel spins around a rebuilt original steering column.
