Just a quick drive in 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 to get a feel of the power of the 6.1L Hemi V8. It's not bad at all when you try to keep it civil and I can bet that it would make a nice daily driver...although the gas mileage is probably awful and it can't be too great in the snow with the high performance rubber. However, if you can learn to lay off the go pedal at green lights and garage it during the foul weather months, you can enjoy this super sports SUV for the length of the warranty :X

ride along, I got stopped at a red light (how unfortunate), where I was able to flat foot accelerate to roughly 62 mph. It was unfortunate that the road was what and the tires were somewhat bald (not my fault), so any "real feel" couldn't be attained appropriately. With that said, this truck still put a stupid grin on my face.
