New 2013 Ford Taurus Sho! (The Taurus gets big upgrades this year)
The new Ford Taurus SHO is the sportiest Taurus yet to wear the coveted performance badge. With its unique blend of the award-winning, fuel-efficient EcoBoost™ engine, enhanced driving dynamics and performance-inspired design, the new Ford Taurus SHO shows it means business. An unprecedented combination of horsepower, technology and fuel economy takes this acclaimed sporting sedan to a whole new level. "The Taurus SHO has always followed the original formula of stealthy sleeper, and the new model is no exception," said Gordon Platto, chief designer. "We wanted to keep the subtle, understated, yet sporty elegance, but at the same time we knew it was time to even more fully differentiate the Super High Output model from other Taurus series models." Inspired by SHO buyers and club enthusiasts, the design team knew just what to do. "Listening to SHO buyers and enthusiasts encouraged us to strengthen the design and the driving quality for the new 2013 model," said Platto. "For us, this was a clear indication that SHO customers have passionate feelings about aesthetics and design as well as performance." Distinctive design, signature technology For the new Ford Taurus SHO, subtle differentiation from the other members of the Taurus family starts up front, with a performance-inspired grille in black mesh - unique to the SHO - flanked by series-specific high-intensity discharge headlamps. Behind the front wheel openings, a fender-mounted scallop contains a subtle SHO badge. *I don't own these photos or the music. They are used for entertainment purposes only. 2010 SHO vs 2007 Magnum SRT8
Magnum had a better reaction time (.04 vs .19), I caught up with him and had a better time 12.81 at 107.17 vs 12.89 at 108.21), but because I started late, it doesn't show that way. I have been running between 12.77 and 12.83 all day, him between 12.79 and 12.98... We had good races, cheers Yohan! Mods SHO : Non-PP, Stage 4+ by Livernois, custom Exhaust, Airaid cold air intake, H&R springs. Mods Magnum SRT8 : Diablo tuned, around 465 hp/465tq

2010 SHO 12's sec.
In Luskville west of Ottawa, Canada. Temperature was around 50F, slight tailwind (about 5mph), but that track is very bumpy! I ran many races that day. That was an average one, my best has been 12.71s. at 107.93 mph. First 60 feet aroun 1.80 to 1.85 and my best 1/8 mile pass was 8.129 at 84.982 mph... Enjoy and please comment!

BMW 335i vs. Ford Taurus SHO
335i with intake, chip to make 4 lbs of Boost more, headers and full Exhaust = 410rwhp vs. Ford Taurus SHO with a tune.

2010 SHO vs 2010 Camaro SS
In Luskville, west of Ottawa, Canada. Second portion of 1/4 mile was in bad shape, very bumpy! The trap speed are slower by about 2mph because of that... I started late R/T of .349 for SHO and .03 for the SS : SHO = 12.74 at 108mph (intake, Exhaust, suspension and tune LMS stage 4+) SS = 12.85 at 110mph (intake and tune) We ran all day together and I was consistent with my 12,7's, but he ran anywhere between 12.76 and 13.85, depending on his launch. On that race, he had a good launch.... As for the SHO, it is AWD,so no excuses. : )

2011 Taurus SHO Turbo installation
This is how they install the one of the twin turbo's on the 2011 Ford Taurus SHO 3.5L engine at the Cleveland, OH plant. This was filmed on a private tour of the plant by the SHOCLUB during the 2010 SHO Convention in Dearborn, MI.

Chevy vs. Ford Cop-Car Thrash Battle! Roadkill Episode 12
On this episode of Roadkill, Freiburger and Finnegan are out to discover which used cop car they like best, the Chevy Caprice 9C1 or the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor P71. Of course you expect nothing but the most professional, scientific analysis from these guys, and that includes a day doing donuts and bashing into stuff on pavement, tire explosions, a road trip to the desert, camping, thrashing on dirt roads, and a finale that just might create a new form of low-buck off-road motorsport. Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the new Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
