LED turn signal hyperblink/fast flash. 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track.
This problem is usually fixed with the use of a new flash relay or resistors. However on the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track only, this problem seams to be unfixable at the moment since the car does not have a flash relay and all electronics, including lights, are controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module). In other versions of the 2013 Gen Coupe, the problem has been fixed via resistors, however, on the Track edition, resistors do not fix the problem.
Here you see that the hazards work fine when using remote start. However, when I activate the car's computers, you see the lights blink flash right away. The hazards also blink normal when the car is off.

The fuel efficient automaker used to be know for getting great gas mileage, but the refreshed Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec is an enthusiasts dream come true. Hyundai kick started the 21st century sport compact craze with the original Genesis Coupe, and while it was a breath of fresh air from the 100,000 mile warranty car builder, at the time the rear wheel drive sport compact felt a bit heavy. However the refreshed 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe not only looks better, but thanks to gasoline direct injection they make a whole lot more power as well. Starting at $28,750 the 3.8 R Spec comes exclusively with a six speed manual that is connected to the torquey 3.8 Liter Lambda V6 and rides on a set of staggered 19 inch wheels wrapped in stick y Bridgestone Potenza tires and house a set of big red Brembo brake calipers.
The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec is motivated by a large 3.8 Liter GDI V6 that produces 348 HP at 6,400 RPM and 295 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 RPM. Despite the added power the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec still gets great gas mileage, rated at 18 MPG in the city and as much as 27 MPG on the highway. The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec is quick too, accelerating from 0 to 60 MPH in 5.9 seconds and keeps on going though the quarter mile in 14.3 seconds at 98 MPH.
From the ground up the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec was built to perform. The 3.8 R Spec handles great, even with the extra weight up front from the Lambda V6. The 225 wide rubber up front helps point the R Spec around turns while the Torsen limited slip differential makes sure that power is distributed evenly across the 245 series tires out back. The Brembo brake calipers also help to bring things to a halt. On the inside the sport bucket seats hold occupants in place nicely and add a nice touch to the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec's enthusiast attitude.

Dark Black Chrome 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Sequential LED Signal Tail Lights
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Black Chrome Tail Lights with 16 Channel Sequential Amber LED turn signals. We took the brand new 2013 LED tail lights, and sawed them in half. Avoiding any damage to the lens or internal parts puts this process somewhere in between custom fabrication and surgery. Once the perimeter of the light was cut through, all extra plastic had to be trimmed to allow the internal bezel to release from the main lens. At this point all clear lenses were removed by gloved hands and packed inside boxes to set aside until re-assembly.
64 individual holes were first marked, then drilled to run wires from 16 Amber CREE LEDs, hooked to a custom coded micro-controller set to "stack" one LED after the next during the signal phase. A custom relay/capacitor combination is in place to interupt the Brake light circuit any time the signal is activated, to keep the Amber LEDs visible, even with the running lights on.
With no dust or print left behind, the lenses were eventually snapped back into place on the freshly coated Black Chrome bezels. All parts were assembled as though they had never come apart, and the housing was resealed along the perimeter where it was cut (which left a 1/16" channel all the way around the housing).
These lights are plug and play, and install in about 3-4 minutes.
