2010 VW Jetta TDI Cup Edition - Rawtek exhaust - lots of turbo noise
Another external mic test. This time it's on my TDI Cup car that I just put Exhaust on along with Malone stage 2 tune. Audio-Technica ATR3350 mounted on the license plate frame, camera is mounted on the bottom of the rear window. Car is a 2.0 common rail 2010 Jetta TDI with Rawtek downpipe and straight pipe mid. Stock axle back. So straight pipe back to the stock muffler. DPF delete, EGR delete, no cats, nothing.

2001 ALH TDI with 214,000 miles, cold start at -2ºF (-19ºC). No muffler on this engine, but small glass pack resonator in the Exhaust tips. Small puff of bluish smoke before Exhaust quickly switches to being steamy. No problem for the TDI. Video shot with a Panasonic ZS7 compact megazoom camera.
