My 1925 Ford Model T - A Closer Look: Transmission & Clutch
Enthusiasts Website: http://www.fordmodelt.net/
Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/modeltford/
In this video, we take a detailed look at the Ford Model T transmission,
afterwards taking a look at the correct procedure for pulling away,
forwards and backwards, and also correct braking.
I imported my 1925 Ford Model T from the USA, not far from Detroit,
Michigan where it was built.
The Model T was manufactured between 1908 and 1927, and was know by various
names including Tin Lizzie, Flivver, T‑Model Ford, or just 'T'.
The Model T set 1908 as the historic year that the automobile became
popular. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the
car that opened travel to the common middle-class American; some of this
was because of Ford's innovations, including assembly line production
instead of individual hand crafting.
On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth Model T Ford roll off
the assembly line at his factory in Highland Park, Michigan.

Chopped Custom 1942 Chevy Panel Truck...another project
We just picked this '42 Chevrolet panel truck up, and will be working on it
later, after we finish the '37 school bus motor home.. It has a 1980's
Camero independent front suspension clipped onto to the original '42 fame
rails.. They also used the Camero rear end, bolted up to the original '42
spring leafs.. We going to finish chopping the doors, and hang them
"suicide" style.. Also, we're going to use 1937 Chevrolet pickup truck
front fenders, mated onto a late 1930's White Motor Company grille.. The
whole front end with the V-shaped grille, will make the panel truck look a
lot older, and better looking, as we think the stock 1941-46 front ends are
ugly and boxy looking..
S10 Frame Swap for a 1955 First Series Chevy Panel Truck - Bagged
Trust me, I totally understand if you choose to mute this video, it's me
playing the guitar with a crappy drum synth. I uploaded it once before,
but I didn't realize how many hits it was going to hit. YouTube threw
advertisements on it because I used their music.
This is a quick video I threw together sort of showing how I did the frame
swap on my 55 Chevy. It's not very detailed, but it's all I had time to
make. The swap wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but I expected it to
really suck. Either way, I never want to do this again- it's all Mustang II from here on out. Feel
free to post comments and ask questions or even give me advice. I've never
built a hot rod before so to be quite honest- I have no idea what I'm
doing. Experience has been a brutal but effective teacher. Please check out

Also, I have a page on Facebook (I give T-shirts and junk away sometimes):
And finally, if you want a wicked cool shirt, check these out:
I don't make any money on the shirts by the way. I just think they're cool.
