irace - Round 7 Race 2 - Eastern Creek 16/10/10 Muscle Division - PART 1
irace - In car footage from the Sonic Interactive Evo 9. My first door to door race day. Lap two i had a hairy moment in T2 when i was squeezed onto the grass when late braking, my left wheels went onto the grass and the car wouldn't pull up, i went straight through T2 in front of 2 cars about to turn in.... a very scary moment and a learning experience that thankfully cost nothing. Somehow i managed to get it pointing the right way and actually held my position ahead of those 2 cars.
For the rest of the race i had a great dice with an RX7 sports sedan and an Oztruck, i must have swapped positions with the Oztruck half a dozen times. Both the RX7 and Oztruck were a lot quicker than my car on the straights but the Evo was clearly superior under brakes and on power out of the corners with the extra grip of AWD.
The RX7 held me up for the majority of the race until i finally found an opportunity to pass him on T9 late in the race but by then it was too late to make up enough positions. I came 11th in this race.

First attempt at adding logged data, unfortunatly there was an issue receiving the car data, it only saved the GPS data (Speed and Track Map)
