1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
This is my 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 project-Plans for this car are drum to disc brakes upgrades first! You can hear the old drums squeeking as I brake! suspension, interior, and house of kolor candy apple red paint with black rally stripes! Audio system and interior are already being worked on. Also im planning to lower it 2 inches all around. Im debating on wether to paint the wheels black or match them kandy apple red? or try to combine both black and candy red for the rims? What do you think?
Engine is a freshly rebuilt 400 block, .060 bored, hooker headers, holley carb, holley electric fuel pump, and dual flowmasters. For now not focusing on the engine but I've been thinking about rebuilding a faster 400 and upgrading the automatic transmission to a manual shift 5 speed. Not trying to build a car show quality or a superfast car, mostly a cruiser and once in a while fun at the drag strip.

1967 Pontiac Firebird 20 Year Cold Start
We work on starting my new 67 Firebird after it has been sitting for 20 years untouched in Wasilla, Alaska. The tags expired in 1989. It has the original Overhead Cam Inline Six Engine. Before starting it we put oil down the cylinders, primed the oil system, changed the oil and replaced the Cap, Rotor, Plugs, and Points. A Complete restoration is planned for the immediate future.

Comp Cams Thumpr Cam With Flowmaster 80 Series
New Exhaust and front grills coming soon!**Cam Information Below**
The newest line of camshafts from Comp Cams is the "Thumpr". This line of retro-fit hydraulic roller and hydraulic flat tappet cams is designed for use in engines that originally used a flat tappet cam. It will give a significant increase in horsepower over an identical flat tappet grind. The "Thumpr" uses lobe profiles and grind characteristics that produce an early valve opening, long Exhaust duration, and a generous overlap to give the engine a powerful and hard hitting Exhaust note and a rough idle without sacrificing power output or streetability.
RPM Range: 2,000 to 5,800 rpm
Duration @ .050" lift: 227/241 (int/exh)
Valve lift: .479/.465 (int/exh)
Ideal for high performance street use, stock converter ok, best with
2000+ converter and gears, choppy, thumping idle.
Comp Cams 12-600-4
• Muscle car sound is back
• Hard hitting, lumpy idle
• Excellent throttle response and "streetability"
• Significant horsepower increase
and a stock y-pipe with no converter.
some others put into the engine too.
