1974 Nova at Grove Creek Minnesota 8th mile 2 half passes video
Here are back to back passes as I give a ride to my auction winner Rachael
Kuck. Looks like I got my engine stumble off the line fixed. I had to hit
the brakes after the car shifts into 2nd gear because I can't run faster than 8.60 with a passenger. Without
the passenger the car made a pass of 6.27 @ 112 mph yesterday. My 1974
Nova has a 496 Big Block Chevy under the hood with approximately 725 HP
now. Powerglide transmission with 4.29 gears in a Ford 9 inch rear. Stock
Dart Pro 1 heads fed by a custom build Dominator carb.
74 Chevy Nova Update 100 - FINAL PAINT (Lots of Timelapse video)
My Day at the paint booth! Lots of time lapse in this video of every step I
took to get the 74 Nova painted. If you are wondering why I taped green
tape to my clothes is because I wanted to make sure my clothes do not flap
and touch the car while painting. Its tight against my body.

I thought you'd like a look at this very clean 1969 Chevy Nova SS, so we
decided to take it for a spin. This car is powered by a performance built
396 Big-block, topped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Performer RPM intake,
and a 4 BBL Carb. All that power is being sent through a four-speed manual
trans and believe me, this thing will really fly. The Cortez silver paint
is very slick, the interior looks like new, and it's riding on a set of
rally wheels, with BF Goodrich tires. This car is extremely well built and
it's ready to go. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a

Project 74 Nova At The Track-2004
First video bit is from 2002 testing the new tunnel ram - Test-N-Tune at
Gainesville, Fl. with a 383 stroker engine without proper (recommended)
stall and rear gears for a big cam. The recommended rear gears and stall
for this cam is 410/ 3300. I had 342 gears and a stall of about 2300 at
this time. 2012 it is now a 388 stroker with complete aftermarket
suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes and street slicks.

Very well preserved Nova here! What started as a car designed to go head
to head with the Falcon and Valiant, and was offered with your choice of

1974 Chevy Nova hatchback is a Beast!!
This is a 1974 chevy nova with the 350 motor from my other video(check it
out). It was home grown in my dads shop in the back yard. Body work,
motor, paint, everything you can think of was done in house! Far from
Pro's just weekend warriors!!! The motor has holley carb, intake, 270
crane cam, headers, and straight pipes. Car has B&M shifter, and Greg
Welds wrapped in Mickey Thompsons, homemade traction bars, homemade,
One-Off rear fenders(rubber was slightly wide and didn't want to tub this
time), underskirts and bumpers pushed in to look like 73's. The other
Nova is my start up project!! Brother is getting down next. Let me know
what you think!!!!!! Sorry about the quality, its just a digital cam.
More to come.
1000 HP 1963 Chevy Nova SS - A Day At The Track V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Joe Kosiba is one of those guys who likes to keep
his stuff in order. His house and truck are always spotless, and his
garage is so clean it could double as a showroom. We've often found that
shops that are too clean never see any work, but Joe also knows how to get
things done. Take his '63 Nova, for example. He's owned it for a long
time, and it has gone through several transformations over the years,
resulting in the car you see in this video. Today it's an arrow-straight
street / strip terror that makes around 1000 horsepower from a small
block sucking Nitrous Oxide. In this
video, Joe takes the car to the World Street Challenge to run in the Wild
Street class where you have to drive the car 30 miles, then run
back-to-back dragstrip passes to qualify. Joe's Nova ended up winning
the class with low 9-second quarter mile passes at around 150 miles per
hour. If you ask Joe, it's just good clean fun. You can also see this
car featured in the May, 2009, Car Craft Magazine.
