Note: Don Williams died after 10 years in coma when his car hit the wall nearly head on at full speed, but that was not covered by the TV cameras.

Geoff Bodine, NASCAR Truck Series @ Daytona 2000
Injuries: He broke his right wrist, right cheekbone, a vertebra in his back, his right ankle, and also suffered a concussion. Nine fans were also injured in the accident.

Giorgio Bartocci, Trofeo Lamborghini @ Brno 2010
Injuries: Broken ribs, a broken leg and second-degree burns over 40% of his body
Note: This crash was a total disaster for the firefighters on the track.
Giorgio was trapped inside his burning Lamborghini for almost a minute before one of his crew members who did not wear a fireproof suit and got his face burned could pull him out.
Giorgio is still recovering from his injuries.

***This video was taken while the truck was still under construction***440 with 671 blower, Dynoed 680 horse@ 6600 RPM. We decided to test out my transmission , the first run I think I accidently bumped it to neutral, second run was clean all the way through 3rd gear. Good thing I dont plan to shift in the mud anyway, its just nice to know things are working properly! I need to upgrade to 70 shafts in the front before I lock it! Multi-Car Crash At The Nürburgring | October 2011

Yesterday around 14:00 in the afternoon, a serious traffic accident happened on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring with a total of eight vehicles involved including the famous BMW M3 Ring Taxi. The accident took place in two phases with drivers from several European countries involved.
The accident was probably caused by speeding. In the section called "Bergwerk" a construction company set up by a construction zone. While most of the drivers realized this, a fourth driver was trying to brake, but could not prevent a side collision with a car driving ahead. The car then hurled into the grass. After 50 meters it came back on the road where it hit two other cars.
The accident situation was recognized by three other drivers and they were able to slow down their cars. Another car, a BMW M3 ring taxi, did not pay attention and crashed against two of the decelerating cars. The ring taxi eventually stopped against the guard rail. Except for one single vehicle, all cars were severely damaged and no longer roadworthy. The estimated damage is more than € 100,000.
