SLEEPER Miata Shocks 600hp Z06! [STREETS]
At our stop in Nashville we hopped into a 600hp Heads/Cam Z06 after a random Miata asked to street race at a meet, not knowing much about the car other than the Intercooler we noticed we went out to see what the car had... The results were crazy! This thing was SCREAMING down the highway surprising everyone who witnessed the race. Returning back to the meet we all found out exactly why this car was so damn FAST! The 5.3L LSx under the hood Boosted by a rear mount 78mm turbo puts down mid 600whp on LOW Boost, the car was turned up as much as it could be without completely blowing off the non-radial 225 (narrow) STREET TIRES (around 700whp) equipped with a 4L80 transmission, once this street beast spools you better hold on!!! Can't wait to see this car again in the future.

Mazda Miata RB26 Wipe Out at Sacramento Raceway
Guy lost control of his 9 second Mazda Miata while racing at the drag strip. His excellent reaction and control saved his life. Recorded at Sacramento Raceway Park. He regularly traps over 140+mph. If he would have slammed into the side walls or the other car, things would've been really bad. He is okay. Now let him enjoy his snow cone. UPDATE: For those wanting to see the footage from his GoPro cameras, unfortunately, both his GoPro cameras failed to record because both cameras ran out of storage memory just after leaving the burn out pit and turned off. I know a lot of people would love to see that footage. But glad I was there to capture the event. Thanks for all the views!! Turbo MX-5 Traction Problems - ~350 WHP in a 2500 lb 2006 NC MX-5
People want to know what our car does 0-60; we'd like to know too! Unfortunately with now approaching 350+ WHP we can't put the power down fully until 4th gear, sometimes not even then. We will take donations for 10.5 slicks for those that REALLY must know! Stock motor, raced and abused, over-revved, subjected to far too much experimentation--still 210 compression across the board and doesn't burn a drop of oil after 3 years. Spools the Garrett 2860RS to 5 psi by 2300, 10 psi by 2700, 13 psi final Boost. Tested to 15 psi, put down 325 to the wheels a while back at a couple psi less and with Boost leaks that are now fixed. We will be heading to the Dyno in the next week or two to get the new numbers. Tires are Falken FK452's in a straight line friendly 225/50/16 profile. At the 52 degrees Fahrenheit we're working with here the R-Comps don't do any better without some serious preheating. Of note this is setup with the Blow-Through 3" MAF setup. So far so good! The throttle response is phenomenal, HP definitely up a few, and spool dropped about 200 rpm.
