This was a TRD Scion tC that Scion NW asked us to do work on for a car show
in Seattle.The TRD accessories came stock with the car, so we put our own
spin on it to give it a unique look.
Jessicas 67mm scion tc 23 psi 527 WHP!!
This is my GF's scion tc which was completley built and tuned by me, Justin
BC rods, BC cams, BC retainers, springs, and valves, BC stage 2 F/I
camshafts, toyota rod and main bearings, Dezod motorsports base kit with a
comp 67mm triple ball bearing turbo and
a .63 a/r Exhaust housing. FX 700 twin
disc clutch, stock tranny, stock axles!! DEZOD AEM EMS STANDALONE.
67mm comp triple ball bearing turbo with
only 23 psi(wastegate spring was to small) and we will be at 30 psi a
couple weeks and reDyno it, I just switched from a
61mm journal bearing with a .58 ar so the tune is much different and I
didnt have time to touch it up(why the power falls off some)
527 whp on a similar to a Dyno dynamics Dyno #'s. On a Dynojet I would expect 560+
this car will make 650-700WHP soon.. It has 3600 Miles of PURE abuse, and
alot of 5th gear highway pulls all the way to redline (8200 on the 61)
racing streetbikes and such.
Jessicas 67mm Turbo Scion TC with new Ptuning/Custom Setup
This is the new setup as of 9-26-09 I finished up, still with aem ems tuned
by me, car built by me. Ptuning kit with a 67mm T3 .63 ar comp turbo built to my own specs(thanks to Justin at
comp for getting it done in a day for me on the rush!) 4 inch inlet TO4E
compressor housing, larger exhast wheel major(turbine housing has to be
machined to fit.
2005 Scion tC built motor turbo vs. 2010 Mitsubishi Ralliart
This is a video i put to gether of my first race with my tC after breaking
in the new motor and Boosting it
again. During this run my car had a very conservative 15min tune on it to
make sure nothing went wrong. AFR's were around 10.5 with more than enough
timing removed to make sure i didnt start knocking or anything. With a more
aggressive tune you can see that it would pull alot more on this Ralli.
This was just a quick test run on low Boost. The final goal is to tune for 25psi and
hopefully break 500whp.

Scion tC Push Button Start w/ No Key
My 2006 Scion tC with a key-less push button start. This was accomplished
by designing and building a RFID reader under the cup holder that detects
the presence of the RFID tag in the key fob.
After the RFID reader detects the tag inside the key fob, a signal is sent
to an actuator in the steering column. Which in turn releases the steering
lock mechanism in the lock cylinder, allowing free movement of the steering
I know, it's a lot of work for a simple push button start, but it was the
only way to safely bypass the factory Scion security controls and still
maintain functionality of the security system to prevent theft.
