I was invited to this show with my rc pattern Scania - NIKA CHRUDIM to provide a supporting show. Due to big success of the rc models, me and my friend, we were also invited to the slovakian first run of SCANIA R in Bratislava. Here I had a chance to test the new truck of the year 2010 personally. What a great experience! Pavel

With the new R-series, Scania has delivered a state-of-the-art truck that sets new standards in terms of fuel economy, driveability and overall efficiency, said jury chairman Gianenrico Griffini when he presented the International Truck of the Year 2010 award to Scania in a ceremony at the companys research and development centre in Södertälje, Sweden. http://www.scania.com/truckoftheyear
The International Truck of the Year award is given each year to the truck model that has made the strongest contribution towards making road transport more efficient. The award, which was established in 1977, is the most prestigious accolade in the trucking world. The jury consists of leading commercial vehicle journalists from 22 European countries.
