220mph Tire Blowout - The Texas Mile - March 2011
Both the rear tires went at around 220mph! The parachute kept the car going straight, thankfully the car was able to stop without crashing. This Camaro made 1800hp to the rear wheels! It's owned by Kelly Bise and built by LMR. Two days later the car ran 239mph on 20" street tires. 240mph ProCharged Stock Car - Texas Mile
This car is making somewhere between 1500 - 1600hp, it has a Procharger on it and the motor was built by the School of Automotive Machinists (S.A.M.) The car is worked on by G-Force in Houston. The fastest pass was 240mph but this car was moving in the first 1/2 mile. The last pass the car had Nitrous hooked up but it didn't make it to the finish under full power.
