59' Hayes first start in 10yrs
This is my 59' Hayes Clipper 220 Cummins first start in 10 plus years. Put a couple batteries in it and she whirled right over and fired.
37419 COLD START
37419 Trying it's best to start in very cold conditions on the 8th February 2007 at Old Oak Common Depot LONDON UK.
The temperature on this date was -01c - 30.21F .
The power unit is clearly COLD hence the reason it is struggling to start.It does start once the cylinder temperature rises around the 1:12 min mark.
So,Please, Please stop telling us all how cold it is in your country this video is not about that.All comments made about how cold it is in your country will be deleted,we are not interested.Thanks.

1978 Peterbilt 359 started up after 8 years of sitting
My old Peterbilt had been sitting for 8 years. We thought we had better fire it up before any more time went by, so we primed the fuel lines with fuel and rounded up four old car batteries, gave the glow plugs 20 seconds to warm things up - - - and she fired right up - - this is Part 1 - - first firing after 8 years. It is a Cat 3406-A engine

SPECS 1987 Peterbilt 359 Classic It is a numbered truck, No. 45 of 359. It has a 3406B Cat, 15 Od eaton, 52k Rockwell rears 4.33, ratio full lockers.
This is a video I made of my brother going up a tough hill at the back of the NW Bay road near Devlin, On. He has on a split load of Poplar/Birch and is going to the OSB mill at Barwick, On.
He is about 70 000kg here, has chains on his rear axle and has the axles locked up. there were alot more trips where we had to chain up than when we didn't.

1955 Peterbilt 350 Cab Over
This beautiful '55 Pete 350 cab over was being shown by Hofstee Farms at the 2010 Truckin' For Kids Truck Show. Here the fenders are opened showing how parts of the engine can be accessed from the sides. I don't know if the cabs on these can tilt forward or not, but it is obvious that the front area around the grill can be lifted up too. Of the 200 plus trucks at the show this year, this was easliy in my top 3 favorites. I really love the shapes of it. I wish it were mine. 10-23-10.

800hp Cold Start of a Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner
This is a truck built by Pete Halas using Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner parts. The engine is a 855cid twin turbo Cummins making 800+ hp. It has a 13 speed main trans 4 speed aux. trans and 2 speed tri drive rears.
