Dodge Dart Progress 8/5/09
Mock up stage of my 1970 Dodge Dart build. Engine is a 512 CI Big Block
Dodge with an aluminum Indymaxx block, aluminum 440 Source heads, 1050
Dominator carb by Pro Systems, Crane solid roller cam, Milodon gear drive.
Rear axle is a Strange S60 with Strange disc brakes 4:11 gears. Wilwood

UTE 496 First Burnout
MY Mopar 383 - 496 440 source stroker engine.
I changed the jets and put a smaller power valve in. It has stopped the
flooding and seems to drive much better. Of course I did it at home, as I
dont condone this sort of thing on the street. Go Drag racing at willowbank
1973 Plymouth Road Runner mopar, not a hemi.....
1973 Plymouth Road Runner, 360ci 380hp crate motor from summit. This is
my cousins car so i don't know all the details, but it runs 7.90's in the
1/8. The motor is as it was when installed 10 years ago.

project now and it's time for this Runner to roll on. The only custom work
done is the Mopar bass box in the trunk that I had built for the car. I've
replaced the camshaft and done other minor upgrades like MSD ignition
W2 head Dodge Dart 408 stroker with its new ISKY 108 solid cam ...
Finally got the thing running again.I switched out the winp hyd cam for an
Isky solid flat tappit .I also home ported the W2 heads at the same
time.Throttle response is crisp and excellent .New cam is 254/254 dur @ 50
witha 108 lobe sep and .507/.507 lift on both sides.I cant wait to see what
it will run now in the 1/8 and 1/4.Previous best was a 7.13 @96 mph.Im
hoping to crack in to the 6.90's now .BTW ,this is a 408 stroker with 10.2
to 1 compression .Only time will tell isf i done good.The throttle response
is unreal now ...
