First Start Up - LQ4 Build - Thirdgen Trans AM
Watch in HD!!
Well folks... Yesterday was the day! I couldnt wait any longer. Made good
progress while working on the car, and decided to fill up the coolant and
make some last minute changes and fire her up!
First...I completely forgot the brake Booster hose. Ive done this before. Im
famous for it... So, the high idle and crazy AFR in the first two clips
are because of that.
Second...I just want to comment on how easy these motors fire up. I know
other motors do too. But every time Ive swapped an LS motor, even after
its either been sitting for years, or just recently put together, it fires
RIGHT up. Literally one crank and its fired up and running.
This video was recorded last night (9-24-2013) and is out of sync for what
I planned on posting. I have some other videos on steering upgrades and a
couple other things that I recorded before this. But I couldnt wait to
post it. SO here it is! Enjoy!

77 Plantinum Bandit @ The Dyno!
Here is a quick upload of the Dyno session we did with the
Platinum Bandit just after the TA Nats this year.
The Platinum Bandit, is an original 77 SE 4spd TA, that we converted over
to a lot of modern technology to make it a fun road ready car with a lot of
power. The 474 stroked engine we recently built for it with the help of
Butler Performance, will be featured in the next issue of High Performance
Pontiac Magazine. Pushing 585HP off of 89 Ethanol fuel, with plenty of
vacuum and drive-ability, really makes this car come alive! I will be
posting a video of all the updated components and their manufacturers soon.
