Bad-assed 1988 Firebird Trans Am GTA
This is my buddies 1988 GTA. It has a 434 Shafiroff motor, Brodix Heads,
TPIS Miniram intake and Nitrous. Runs
6.55 in 1/8th at 107mph and 10.20s's on the spray at 132mph in the 1/4. New
Victor E intake and 1/4 mile times soon to follow. Hoping for high 9s! All
of these times are on 275/60/15 Hoosier drag radials. Unreal!

Car has been sitting for 6 years but just put in a new 350 sbc with ported
and shaved 64 cc center bolt heads, roller rockers and timing chain, .500
lift comp cam, headers, edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carb. Also installed a
tremec T56 six speed trans. I still have a long way to go with new seats,
interior and a paint job on the way. The hood on this car is off a 90 model
firebird V6 that had a custom body upgrade from the dealer (hints the bird
that is all rusty now).
77 Plantinum Bandit @ The Dyno!
Here is a quick upload of the Dyno session we did with the
Platinum Bandit just after the TA Nats this year.
The Platinum Bandit, is an original 77 SE 4spd TA, that we converted over
to a lot of modern technology to make it a fun road ready car with a lot of
power. The 474 stroked engine we recently built for it with the help of
Butler Performance, will be featured in the next issue of High Performance
Pontiac Magazine. Pushing 585HP off of 89 Ethanol fuel, with plenty of
vacuum and drive-ability, really makes this car come alive! I will be
posting a video of all the updated components and their manufacturers soon.
