BMW 5 Series Speaker Upgrade 1/4 -BSW Stage I -E39 '99-05

factory speakers in E39 5 Series Sedan or Wagon (wagon has speakers in
hatch ceiling and very easy to remove - not shown, refer to PDF guide at
www.bavsound.com) years '99-05 and replacing them with BSW's STAGE I
factory speaker upgrade kit (www.bavsound.com). This kit is very simple to
install and perfectly replaces the factory speakers with better sounding,
superior quality BSW drivers. Perfect fit and impedance. The guide covers
all speaker locations found in the DSP and Business CD (standard) systems.
BMW E39: Hella Celis LED Tail Light Upgrade Installation
BMW E39 5 series pre-production September 2000 (9/00) came with the
old-style halogen rear lights. Post September 2000 (9/00) BMW used much
nicer lights, also made by Hella, that include LED segments. They look
100% better! Fitting the lights from a model-year 2001+ E39 to a
model-year 2000 and older E39 was possible, but very difficult. Hella has
made a retrofit kit for us model-year 2000 and older owners. Some minor
modifications and the use of ballasts are required, but it's no big deal if
you have a bit of time to work with (maybe 1-2 hours tops.) I purchased my
kit (Part Number 63212496297RW) here:
I used Phillips Silvervision PY21W bulbs in my rear turn signals so you
don't see the stock orange bulbs inside. I believe mine came from here:

Test Drive: 2002 BMW 525i
In this video I give a full in depth review and test drive of a 2002 BMW
525i. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of
this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique
styling cues to the vehicle itself. I show the car idling and the Exhaust note as well as take it on a thorough

BMW 325i Ugly Hazy Headlight Restoration by Headlight Restoration Service Florida
This BMW 325i headlights restoration took a doing. These headlights had
passed the yellow stage gone through the hazy cloudy stage of oxidation.
They were among the worst headlights that we have ever restore. Never the
less we were able to give these headlights a new look after our headlight
restoration service. Fixmyheadlights.com have been restoring headlights in
south Florida in the Miami Dade, Broward county area for the past 3 years.
The headlights in this video were restored in Lauderhill Florida close to
Coral Springs Tamarac and Sunrise. Mr Parks was very happy and pleased with
our headlight restoration service. His headlights in a like new look
condition dramatically improved the appearance of his car and also
increased his SAFETY as well.
E39 540i Instrument cluster pixels fixed
First test run before final reassembly, all pixels are finally back.
Materials used: enameled copper magnet wire 38 gauge, soldered to the PCB
and glued with Wire Glue (carbon based) to the panel. A thin layer of epoxy
to seal the glued wires. Procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the OEM cable, keep it for reference.
2. Clean both the panel and the board; credit card works well.
3. Cut enough wires to length, about 180 wires roughly 1" long, the shorter
4. Expose copper from enamel on both ends of all wires (I used solder bath
5. Set your panel so it won't move, use a strip of double-sided sticky tape
to hold your wires when you gluing them until the glue is dry.
6. Glue all wires, make sure there are no shorts.
7. Solder all to the board and test.
8. Apply a thin layer of epoxy over the glued wires to seal them
9. Modify the supporting white plastic piece so that it doesn't push on the
PCB board where the wires are now soldered. Basically the areas where the
rubber goes need to be ground off.
10. Assemble and enjoy!
