Ford SHO mid engine RWD in a Fiero Redneck dune buggy

Initial Startup, running in the parking lot by my shop. A few donuts, a few drifts and some straight line runs. A piss poor attempt to laying a patch! lol My friends and I have spent over 400 hours building this car. It is caged with race seats and harness belts. I plated the chassis and completely rebuilt the back end of the frame to suit my driving needs! I used the subframe from the Taurus SHO and modified it to fit the Fiero. I also plated the subframe and added a 1/2" thick aluminum skidplate! This baby is built to drive the piss out of it! :D It will be interesting when I start running exotic blends of fuel, as I am only starting off with some 87 Octane fuel to start with here. More to come in time.... I have an MTX and a auto Tranny I am willing to sell!

Street Legal Sand Rail Hot Rod Fun!
Sand Toy. Dunes, Drags, or Saturday night Cruise-In. Nobody doesn't LOVE this buggy!

Homemade Go Cart / Dune Buggy
The cart is built out of old car parts and junk I saved and cost was just welding rods, the front end clip was used for easy engine mount attachment, it has a1L Suzuki engine, the axe is out of an 82 Regal, old VW front end frame quarter inch black pipe. I call it a Go Cart because it has no rear suspension I wanted to build this thing in minimal time I have maybe 25 hours into it but it still needs some work of course there is no brakes have to finish that. I like to build Mad Max like post apocalypse vehicles. This was a fun and quick build, my next project I promise to have suspension in the rear and a little more care to detail. Remember don't try this at home I'm a professional builder of redneck stuff lol. I like build post apocalyptic vehicles quick from stuff you could find laying around.

Homemade buggy build part 1
This is a slide show and first start up of a buggy I am building out of junk I have gathered over the years. I hope to continue documenting this build. I think this buggy will be a handfull. I am about 3/4 of the way finished with it and hope to have some videos of this beast in action this spring. BTW this is the first bit of video editing I have done so be kind.

Mack AC Driving off Trailer
This Mack AC is pretty cool! It was July 2007's Truck of the month on ATHSLI.com, the web site of the Long Island Chapter of the ATHS. The owner of this Mack AC explained that the truck was converted by Ballentine Ale. This truck is one of 50 for Ballentine Ale use. This conversion included a Chevy Six engine and transmission, and a new hood and radiator.

$2009 AWD Hybrid Fiero - First test drive!
First test drive with the $2009 AWD Fiero. The video shows the car in electric only mode, it's so quiet that you can't even hear the motor over the road noise from the nearby street! This was the first time the new suspension has been driven on as well. GSXR Powered Barracuda Dune Buggy HQ
All the clips of the barracuda. Powered by a 750 cc Suzuki GSXR engine, the buggy has approximately 90-100 hp at the wheels, and 120 or so at the crank. Suspension travel is 12 inches in the rear and 15 in the front. The shocks in the video were too low on nitrogen. This buggy took almost 3 years to complete. The whole chassis was hand fabricated, along with the suspension and driveline. If you want to see more, check out www.minibuggy.net More videos will be coming soon!
