A pair of 2009 Dodge Challengers R/T 6-speed. I got to drive the black one and it was a dream. The transmission shifts very smoothly and of course the power is awesome! Almost thought about selling my 70 GTO to get one, but I'd never sell it. Mustang owners has every reason to be afraid!

2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Walk-Around
This is my 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic in Hemi Orange. Just a simple walk around, so I can show friends and family my car. I factory ordered it in March, and 6 months later it FINALLY arrived at the dealer. The wait was long, but WELL worth it, especially since the Hemi Orange color ended with the 2009 model year. If you have questions, ask away, I'll do my best to answer all of them.
UPDATE 12/21/09: I've learned in the past week or so that Dodge has decided to go ahead and re-release the Hemi Orange color for ordering. Good news for those who weren't able to get one the first time around, bad news for those of us who thought we were getting the last of a color. What ya gonna do. Just wanted to put this info up before the smart asses start making comments. :)
2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Hill Start Assist (HSA) Demo
Our 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T has a 6-speed manual that's excellent in many ways. I particularly like the feel and weighting of the shift lever.
And today, while starting on a grade, I discovered that it has Hill Start Assist, a strategy that uses the ABS to hold the brakes for up to three seconds when the clutch is engaged, preventing roll-back while you move your right foot from the brake to the throttle.
Watch the brake lights here. Specifically, notice that the car does not roll back when they go out. The middle case shows what happens if you wait to long.
The system also works in reverse when backing up a hill.

This is a Dodge Classic that is reborn in this 2009 model Challenger. It has the 5.7L Hemi, the R/T stripping, Leather, Sirius Navigation system, and Electronic Stability Control.
