At 6:12 they wave the green flag...OK, I guess that means it's on...
From 9:00 on I go play with the Ferrari's, then @ 17:22 we hit 150mph on the Mulsanne during (wait for it)...parade laps..
This was a real opportunity, and still can't believe it happened, in our own cars too! I'm driving a 2008 Shelby GT500KR.

FOR THE PURIST - After a brief intro, it's just pure organic race car sounds! By request from those who want only the pure rumble! Road America Vintage Weekend in Elkhart Lake, WI, in July is presented by Kohler with guest host Brian Redman. On Friday evening more than 100 vintage race cars parade from the track into the Village to offer a free Concours de Elegance sponsored by Road and Track magazine. Crowds line the streets early in the afternoon waiting for the cars to thunder through the town square to the loop around Siebken's Resort and the Osthoff Hotel. These are some rare and famous motorcars. It's a treat for the public to get such an up close and personal opportunity to meet the drivers and race crews in such an elegant setting. Elkhart Lake has been a center of road racing activity since 1950 when sports cars first raced a course through the village. In this video the cars turn left off of Rhine St. onto Lake Street - one of the streets used for those first races.

Ridge - MX5 on Kumho V710s playing with Porsches
Ridge Motorsport Park, event by Ridge Racing School. Only 40 cars, open passing at advanced group, LOVE their events.
As usual, my Mazda MX5 was running Kumho V710s, condition was hot and dry, perfect for the tires. In this session I was able to play with 2 race preps porsches (911 & 914). They pulled away from my car on all the long straights but under braking and turns I gained it all back and more, fun times.

My Miata is NA with intake header Exhaust, no ecu yet, should push around 150whp.
