Oregon Raceway Park in a BMW 135i
This track is amazing and velvet smooth. ORP has 14 true turns of blind
apexes, wicked banks, and huge elevation changes. Smooth driving, car
control and hitting your marks are key at this track...plus a lot of TQ
helps. Videos do not do this amazing track justice. If you have the chance,
make the effort to drive this track. You will not be disappointed.
Portland International Raceway in a BMW 135i
Video of a few laps around PIR. This is a really nice track, my 135i with
Dinan Stage II and Riss Exhaust could
hit 130 to 140 MPH on the two straights here. Track is really hard on
brakes though, I turned my white caliper letters yellow here when brakes
hit about 900 degrees.
2008 BMW 135i on the Nurburgring
Another Lap on the Nurburgring! This one is about a 9 min lap. I took it
pretty easy and had some "technical" difficulties. The camera flew out of
my headrest around the end. Timing was from bridge to bridge. Enjoy!

2014 BMW M5 Competition vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Model! - Head 2 Head Ep. 44
On this episode of Head 2 Head Jonny Lieberman is joined by Mike Shaffer
and two extremely potent hyper sedans, the 2014 BMW M5 Competition and the
2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Model. Between the two of them, these two
mighty Germans produce 1152horsepower and 1092
pound-feet of torque. On paper. After a day of horsing around/testing
Shaffer and Lieberman grow suspicious of each twin-turbo V-8's actual output. So, they take them to
the Dyno gurus at K&N
engineering to learn what's what. The results very well may shock and amaze
you. However, the boys come to the conclusion that numbers are only exactly
that: only numbers, and numbers only matter so much. One true test of a
super sedan is how it handles a twisting stretch of tarmac. The other is
how much you yearn for the car after you've walked away from it. How much
the keys itch in your pocket. While the results are definitive, this Head 2
Head is much closer than most. Have a watch!
Head 2 Head appears every other Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel.
