Classic police cars - 1969 LAPD Plymouth Belvedere with 330 HP V8 engine

The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the top of the line Belvedere, and
Richard Petty won the Grand National championship in NASCAR in a Belvedere.
The new LA-style lightweight 318 engine was introduced for this year and
would remain available on the Belvedere through its life.
In 1968, the line was restyled with a roofline changed to follow the
Charger, standard flip-out rear quarter windows (that would also be used in
1969), and "Coke bottle styling."
The Belvedere name was dropped at the end of the 1970 model year, replaced
by the Plymouth Satellite name originally reserved for higher-end
Belvederes. The Satellite itself lasted only through 1974; starting in
1975, the car was renamed Plymouth Fury, and the longer-wheelbase Plymouth
Fury became the Gran Fury.
1955 Plymouth Belvedere - What a Beauty!
The car speaks for itself. Two door hard top - PowerFlite 2-speed with a
230.2 in" six-cylinder engine, rated at 110 hp (82 kW). With 66629 original
miles. Power steering, power breaks. wire wheels and radial tires. All
Plymouths were treated to a major overhaul for the 1955 model year. This
was the first year of Chrysler Stylist Virgil Exner.

1958 Plymouth Belvedere - Christine - Old Start - Cold Start on Christmas Day
Not REALLY a cold start but Christine's been sitting in the garage since
early November because the weather was quite bad, plenty of snow a few
weeks ago. We had a lot of rain during the last week so all the snow and
the salt on the roads is gone. It's Christmas and we had a sunny and
extraordinary warm day (15°C / 60°F), so I took Christine for her very
first Christmas ride! Will she fire up or will she rather stay in her

Will it Run? Episode Nine: 1962 Plymouth Belvedere
Hi! Cold War Motors just bought this horrible 1962 Plymouth; can we get it
to move again? It had been completely disassembled and left outside for
many years. The engine is seized, and the budget for repairs is zero, as
usual. Some unique problems, with it being a push button automatic, and
trying to jam in a later- model engine...
Its a bit longer than my other vids, I hope you like it! No more music,
as per viewer requests.

Muscle Car Of The Week Video #36: 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II 426 Hemi Convertible
http://www.facebook.com/musclecaroftheweek - This one reminds us of the Big
Bad Wolf dressed up in Granny's nightgown... a 425 HP 426 Hemi V8 under the
hood of a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II convertible wearing color code 661
Metallic Mauve. Yeah, it's pink. And yeah, it's a baaad machine! Plymouth
made 10 '66 Belvedere II Hemi drop-tops, 6 automatics, and only one in this
color, making this one of the rarest Mopars in the Brothers Collection.
It's been perfectly restored, but it still features its original driveline.
And because it's a 1 of 1, it's been restored to it's original Metallic
Mauve. Would it be more fun in black or red? Who knows, but we wouldn't
turn it down!
