2014 Toyota Tundra CrewCab 4.6 V8: Why buy THIS truck?? Test drive and Review
Welcome to my amateur car review channel. You have to admit that many "reviews" on the ol' tube are actually just attempts to sell you the vehicle. I don't do that. I give a real, unbiased, unscripted review of the Tundra from an everyman's perspective so you can feel more informed before YOUR test drive. I'm completely unpaid from the dealers, manufacturers etc... I'll cover the full gamut from style, to function and everything in-between. Thanks for watching and please like, subscribe and share! -Greg Special thanks to Amigo Toyota of Gallup, New Mexico for this test drive. www.amigotoyota.com
2017 Toyota Tundra UNBOXING Review - What The Ford F-150 Used To Be?
Today's unboxing review is of a full-size truck that we don't think gets enough respect, the Toyota Tundra. Specifically, we tested the Tundra Limited CrewMax. Yes, this is a big sucker. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V8 with 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, power is sent to all four wheels on demand via a six-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is also a V8 and that's just fine by us. With a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 lbs. our tester was both luxurious and a hard worker. It did everything we asked of it and much more. Built in America, the Tundra has always somewhat struggled against Detroit's full-size trucks, such as the Ford F-150, but perhaps the Tundra's secret weapon is, ironically, its age; this generation debuted nearly a decade ago. Why can that be seen as a plus? Because there's nothing wrong with an old school truck in terms of engine, towing capacity, and overall simplicity. Oh, and when nearly fully-loaded, it's a lot less expensive than many new F-150s.
