T1 Race Development | Import Face-Off Noble, OK: September 9, 2012
On September 9, 2012 T1 Race Development took a trip to Noble, Oklahoma for the Import Face-Off event held at Thunder Valley Raceway. Off the trailer, the T1 Integra (piloted by Tony Palo) qualified #1 and ran a personal-best e.t. and mph with an 8.320 @ 189.11, with a 1.53 sixty-foot on M&H slicks.
Unfortunately, in the first round of eliminations (on a bye-run), the motor ran lean, lifted the head, pressurized the cooling system, and burned the tops of 2 pistons...ending our race-day. As they say..."That's racing."
We still had a great time, and would like to say BIG THANKS to our crew chief: Michael Morris & T1 Technician: Matt Owen, as well as our friends, family, and fans for all of your support. Looking forward to the next race!
