Around 16 or so Lexus IS-F's gathered in So Cal for a car meet and cruise down Pacific Coast Highway. This was in Orange County with a few coming from San Diego as well as LA.

Lexus IS-F at APEX Driving Academy - MotorSports Ranch TX
My Lexus ISF at the 1.7 mile course with APEX Driving Academy. Instructor is John Holmes who is a very spirited fella. I learned a ton from him and George. I highly recommend anyone around the DFW area to look into Apex Driving Academy for high speed driving at Motorsport Ranch. It was worth every penny.

08 ISF idle ticking noise (normal)
These seems to be a common noise for the ISF so I'm just posting mine for others to compare to. It's on 08 w/ 50k miles.
DYNO DAY! Lexus IS-F on 100 Shot Nitrous (N.O.S.)

We started out without NOS, just the Exhaust and Intake were a factor. The number was around 353rwhp Next we did a 75 shot of N.O.S. and did about 401rwhp. I figured that wasn't worth looking at so we skipped (in the video) to run #3 which was with a 100 shot of N.O.S. and got it up to around 430rwhp.
Since i have an 8 speed tranny, and we were pulling in 6th gear, i asked if we could do a run at full throttle all the way through all 8......next video, you will see how fast we went. I was surprised! I know, its a Dyno and not out on the road, but it was still a big ass number. :D Subscribe, its coming up tomorrow morning!

Considering there isn't much software tuning that can be done to the naturally aspirated V8 in the Lexus, it's no surprise that the Nissan GT-R's twin turbo V6 was able to demolish it at the drag strip. ISF 13.5@108 GT-R 11.1@129
2008 Lexus IS-F Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
Well ever since I did the video on the 2011 IS-F I have been on a search for the famous ultrasonic blue mica that had been featured in all the original press releases for the IS-F upon it's release. Plus I wanted a more smooth orchestrated video that taught viewers a little more about the history behind the car, my search is over and I hope everyone enjoys! In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2008 Lexus IS-F. This car is also part of the vast hendrick performance collection. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
