I picked up this '86 Chevette from a friend of mine for $50. He said it ran quite poorly and was a pain to drive. Really...?
The only thing I've done to this car so far is clean the junk out of it. Mechanically, I have yet to touch it. There are a couple of minor issues with it, such as the door not closing properly and the broken door handle. Other than that, it works great!

neat as it getss from the video you will see the misc dings etc Nothing
needs to be done to the car it is a nice car and it just needs to be driven

Big Block Chevy Powered Chevette - Overkill?
I've seen this car around for a few years, but this is the first I've seen
it running. It's a 1976 Chevette that had a full restoration. It also
received a big block Chevy, all while keeping it's original 13'' tires and
wheels. It was carefully modified so that there is no obvious modifications
pointing to the engine swap. Stock interior, stock shifter, stock hood.

Video / slideshow I made of my chevette while at college. I miss the car
like crazy. I think the music fits pretty well, listen to the words of the
song right before the burnout, seems to be just perfect because I finally
got the car running again and back on the road.
For those of you wondering, in this video the engine is a 4.1L Buick V6 N/A
with 8:1 compression, either a TH200 or 200-4R (I don't remember which I
had in at that point), and the rear axle is stock.
Now the car sports a Nitrous kit, 700r4
transmission, and s10 rear axle with factory gov-loc posi.
