My 97 Ford Thunderbird LX Limited Edition

It's a tour of my 97 Ford Thunderbird LX Limited Edition. I went over some of the features. Showed the engine, did a start up along with an Exhaust clip. This is my summer weekend ride right here. Got it back in 02 with only 11000 miles on it. I plan on keeping it as my classic.

1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6L SOHC V-8 Cherry Bombs
This is my 97 T-Bird with the 205hp 4.6L SOHC V-8 engine. It has factory 2-into-1-into-2 single Exhaust with 3rd cat deleted, Y-pipe, and cherry bomb mufflers. I really love that old school hot rod sound. It doesn't really make the car much quicker, but it sure sounds wicked!

Stage 2 4.6L 1997 Thunderbird LX
0:00 - 0:46: Startup and cold idle (external) 0:46 - 1:27: Warm idle, 3000 then 1800 RPM (external) 1:27 - 3:22: Freeway onramp (no, not full throttle), 70 MPH cruise and deceleration (internal) 3:22 - end: Warm idle, city cruise at 40 (internal) Video mostly to provide sound clips for those considering a similar setup. Driveability when this video was made was sub-par due to a very rough-cut tune being in place at the time. 1997 Thunderbird LX 4.6L SOHC with Modular Head Shop ported stage 2 PI heads and Bullet stage 2p cams. Mandrel Exhaust Systems 2.5" dual Exhaust with Magnaflow X-pipe and Dynomax Super turbo mufflers. 3500 stall torque converter and 3.73 gears. Dyno'd at over 300 BHP. 0-60 in 5 seconds, high 13 second 1/4 mile passes. Sound recorded with two Sennheiser MKH-20s.
