Victory Hammer S review by Luke Wilkins
The Victory Hammer S is one of the best American Muscle bikes and certainly
gives Harley a run for its money. Luke Wilkins from the Motorcycle Diaries
gives us his opinion of this fantastic bike.

Here's the low down on this run.
R1 versus Vic Vegas Jackpot
Jackpot has a new ram air and MSD twin coils.
I preheated the rear tire with a burn out using VP Racing Fuels VHT since
the tire kept spinning on launch. Dint try a test launch first. The bike
ripped off the line a started to come over. I chopped the throttle and
shut down the run immediately - you can see my break light come on right as
I come past. It would have been a close run, but with the current mods,
Mariah (my vic Vegas Jackpot will take a stock R1 easily through the 1/8
and maybe at the 1/4. they're FAST!
Victory Motorcycles: Hammer vs. V-Rod
The Victory Hammer owns that raw, visual aggression that first drew you to
motorcycling - but with more precision-powered performance than most bikes
in their class. To learn just how powerful this bike is go to

has Victory 2-1 performance pipe and a Ness big sucker intake. You will
notice that Victory reduces the horsepower down by around 10
in 5th gear and over 13 in 6th gear to limit the top end of the bike. This
is all done through the use of pulling timing out and adding fuel. Once the
bike gets a big bore kit by lloyds, aside from another 40 hp and 30+ ftlbs,
he will eliminate the factory fifth and sixth gear limitations by creating
a new custom map.

Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic vs. Victory Vision Motorcycle
The top of the luxury-touring segment has been ruled by an unlikely trinity
comprised of Bavarian, Japanese and American manufacturers. While the Gold
Wing , with its horizontally-opposed six, has long been the standard, BMW's
sharp K1200LT, with its Inline Four, has also developed a devout following,
especially in the European market. For the longest time this left one
marque with the distinction of being the only American V-Twin alternative.
Harley-Davidson long stood unopposed in the V-Twin luxo-touring niche with
its Ultra Classic models. Then Victory shook things up last June with the
release of its Vision Tour, also powered by a big bore American-made
V-Twin. And so the competition for bagger buyers with the biggest bucks is
now even more cutthroat.

the Top Gas series. That means his bike runs on petrol, no Nitrous or nitro etc. He built it by himself with
help from Dave Branch. This is not a factory Destroyer bike! This run is
his 8,94 run, see the other video for his record run.
