A parody of the t.v. show "pimp my ride". I took my Goped scooter that was 6 years old and stock, and with the help of davesmotors.com I customized the whole thing and made it go from 16 mph to 38 mph!
Death of a Trans Am Part 2: The Birth of the Red Raped Ape
The LS7 engine block survived the clutch explosion and was able to be welded nicely. We installed the entire setup and then some in my friend's car. I am officially freed from my 15 year obsession with fast cars and am now living vicariously through the stories about this one. Enjoy !

2005 Yamaha R1 Sport Bike engine in a Beisse Shifter Kart. Around 180 HP, weighs about 220lbs. Previous owner had Kart up to 181 mph before a tire blew out. Using GoPro Hero High Def camera with adhesive mount.
NOTE: The rear tires are worn out so the driver didn't do anything to crazy. The ending was edited out to protect the driver.
Location: Northern Michigan
Here are a couple videos of the previous owner; where the speedo read 181mph and spun out.

Go-Ped Liquimatic Engine Rebuild and conversion to sport
1994 Model Liquimatic I got from Craigslist in non running condition. Zenoah 23LH Engine was rebuilt and frame repainted. Torque converter was broken when trying to remove it so I converted it to a sport using a Black Magic Spindle. Replaced the stock carb with a HP from DDM Racing.
I do have new wheels/tires, I'm just wearing out the originals first.

The sequel to the Icon original video: Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle - Nick 'Apex' Brocha is back and this time he brought his Empire teammate, Ernie Vigil. The two are mounted on a pair of crackling Triumph Speed Triples - built by Roaring Toyz for the sole purpose of going sideways. Over the last year their quest to find the ultimate drifting playground has led them to the rolling hills of High Plains County. Low traffic, perfect asphalt and endless twisties have kept them busy resurfacing roads with their rear tires for weeks. The only problem is the local authorities have had enough. Enter Police Officer Dan Brockett, the only man with the muscle to keep these two in sight. His 550 horsepower Ford Mustang Cobra was built for speed and he's got a license to use it...
