Der Ford Taunus 17 m ist das dritte Modell, was die Ford-Werke Köln seit Ende des 2. Weltkriegs präsentierten. Die Formgebung des Taunus P3, die vom Designer Uwe Bahnsen als "Linie der Vernunft" geprägt wurde, bekam schnell den noch heute bekannten Spitznamen "Badewanne".
Ford verkaufte dieses Modell über 600.000 mal.
Heute gilt der Taunus P3 als Meilenstein des Auto-Designs.

1962 ford fairlane 500 (2 door Club Sedan)
first video of my car up. so far not alot has been done to it. so far only a water pump, and thermostat housing replaced on the engine. a few updates, brakes were done and fixed, the driver side front tire was patched, the passenger side needs a rim replaced. a set of spare keys were finally made.
----we are buying parts for this car!----
Even if you dont see the part you have in my list of needed parts, it doesnt mean i dont want it. dont hesitate to PM me on what you have, and its condition, and i'll get back to you as soon as i can!
parts so far that are top priority, and are no aftermarket parts available for:
- replacement front fenders (passenger side bought, need a driver side!)
other parts we need! :
- an original steering wheel & column
- both fender top ornaments
- hood nose emblem
- front driver and passenger side post chrome
- tail light lenses
- weather stripping/seals/tracks/gaskets for doors/windows/trunk/hood
- new fuel door emblem
- new door handles
