1964 Ford Falcon / $100 At a Time
Shane has owned this 1964 ford falcon Sprint 2 door hardtop since 1997 when
he was 15 years old. He bought this car for $500 and made payments "$100 at
a time". The car was a shell when he got it and over the years he has
turned it into a running, and driving classic car with a Ford 302 V8 and a
5-spd manual transmission out of a Mustang 5.0.

I was proud to be be part of the cracking gird of cars that went to
qualify, by the end of race 2 not many were left.
this is race 1 when a gearbox blow up ending my fun just as the car was
starting to come on strong.
Only had used hard slicks or full wets to go out on a really cold greasy
donington, with a partially drying line, track was really slippy from
redgate down to the old harpin,
I choose the slicks as not to destroy my wets, bad decision, the rest of
the field were on various combos of wets/slicks/intermediates
first few laps were a joke could not gererate any tyre temp was like
driving on ice,warm up lap was a big shock. Once I found the grippest bits
it was too late but did post the fasted lap of the race, the last few laps
are much quicker than my ill fated first few
