1963 Pontiac Grand Prix out for a drive

1957 Pontiac Safari Wagon
http://www.barnfineclassics.com/inventory/1957-pontiac-safari-wagon Here's a really neat '57 Safari wagon! It has a Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 and a turbo 350 automatic transmission to move it along. Under the hood you'll find a Quadrajet carburetor, electric fan, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, chrome alternator, Mallory distributor, Mustang II front end with adjustable coil over suspension, and new power disc brakes! Inside it has diamond tuck interior and new carpet! The rear seats fold down so you can haul big items like a surf board! All the lights and the wipers work, and it drives fantastic down the road! It also has new OEM style floor pans and body to frame braces. It sits just right, and sounds like a true hot rod with dual, side exiting, Exhaust! The look is completed with a set of white wall tires and Pontiac hub caps. A really cool wagon with really cool patina!

1958 CHEVY NOMAD STATION WAGON - 1 OF 10 '58 WAGON CHOICES
Another example of a spectacular station wagon is viewed here. There were 3 '58 Chevy wagon models: The Yeoman, at the low end, mid-level Brookwood, and at the top the Nomad. Here are the ten wagon choices: The Yeoman 2-door, L head 6 & V8, Yeoman 4-door, L head 6 & V8, Brookwood 4- door, 6 passenger, L head 6 & V8, & 4-door 9 passenger, L head & V8, and the Nomad - four doors only with L head 6 & V8. This year wagons had larger liftgate which were curved at the corners and hinged into the roof and raised out of the way. Also this year, a newlow slung X member frame containing an all coil suspension ridding the old rear leaf springs. The L-head 6 engine is a 235 cid with 145 hp. The V8 engines are 283 cid with a hp range from 185 - 290, and another V8 with 348 cid at 280 - 315 hp. The weight of this 4 door Nomad is 3,771 lbs., and cost $ 2,835 at the dealer. This Silver Blue beauty is another example of an excellent restoration or a splendid original survivor, I couldn't tell you. But take this all in and savor the look and feel of this great looking Nomad. Thanks very much for viewing this rare Chevy Nomad station wagon.

1956 Pontiac Star Chief Low Mileage Survivor 317 V8 - Gateway Classic Cars
I thought you'd like a look at this very original 1956 Pontiac Star Chief. This amazing survivor has only 74,xxx original miles on the odometer. It's powered by the factory 317 V8, backed by an automatic trans. It has all original interior and even the factory Air Conditioning. You won't find too many out there like this anymore. It has a cool patina to it, that can only be built up over decades of use. If it were me, I would leave this car as it is and just have fun cruising it. I hope you find it interesting....thanks for watching! 1959 Pontiac Star Chief
Here's a cool old 59 Star Chief sedan I saved from being cut into a couch. A little cleaning and a tune-up, and it is a fully functioning car again. Gotta love Craigslist!

1958 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop TriPower WhtGray WOaks041412
It really didn't get more deluxe that this..the flagship of the Pontiac fleet! TriPower was a triple carburetor setup that added but $93.50 to the cost of a four barrel setup. Rochester fuel injection was also offered, but that was $500 extra! The regular tripower setup yielded 300 horsepower. You have to love the color matched interior, and all that chrome! There was an obvious rocket, horizontal on the side of this car! Only in America!

Big Burnouts: 1964 Pontiac Catalina Safari - /BIG MUSCLE
If you haven't figured it out by now, we love wagons on this show. To some they're a misunderstood breed, but to those in the know, they're amazing. Not only were the wagons of yesteryear known for their styling, but their capacity to haul as much cargo as a modern day pickup. This 1964 Pontiac Catalina Safari started off life as a Police Wagon, but was transformed by its owner into the kick-ass, tire-shredding monster you see here. With a Nelson Racing Engines 468 cid big-block under the hood, some updated suspension bits and a killer look, this big green machine is outside-the-box styling at its best. Owner: • Mike Artman

1956 Pontiac Safari WhiteBeige
It's unusual to see one of these rare Safaris, the cousin to the Chevy Nomad. This one is particularly unusual because it has factory installed air conditioning! For some reason, the Safari never seemed to have the following and popularity of the Nomad...but I think it richly deserves equal attention! Pontiac in 1956 went all out with that instrument panel..lots of chrome, lots of knobs.
