1951 Pontiac Sedan Straight 8 at Country Classic Cars
I thought you might like a look at this nicely restored 1951 Pontiac sedan.
It's still powered by the original flathead straight 8. The paint is
slick, the chrome looks great, and the interior is looking nice as well.
This is a well-preserved car, that is ready to cruise. I hope you find it
interesting, thanks for watching!
Filmed at Country Classic Cars in Staunton, IL
The background music track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod.

1958 Pontiac Star Chief Super Deluxe Series 58-28 Catalina Hardtop Sedan - SOLD!
Remember when.......? Many of us remember this great classic 1958 Pontiac
Star Chief Series 58-28 Catalina hardtop sedan even though there were less
than 22 thousand ever made.
It's all there, the 369 V-8 just puuuuurrrrrrrrs, it has an automatic
transmission, power brakes, a working radio, a working heater—AND it even
has cruise control. Overall miles are 109K, and it's a 2nd owner car.
We believe the original paint colors were Calypso Green and Patina Ivory.
As mentioned in the video, it does have some rust issues including floor
boards and will need that taken care. But you could quickly do that, paint
the hood and trunk to its original color, maybe replace the carpet and give
it a lube, oil and filter.
This survivor is an eye catcher and even though it needs restored, the
interior is in good shape over all as is the body and most of the paint.
You won't get in trouble with the spouse when you buy this one because you
can drive it while you restore it and you'll be cruisin' into summer.
1958 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop TriPower WhtGray WOaks041412
It really didn't get more deluxe that this..the flagship of the Pontiac
fleet! TriPower was a triple carburetor setup that added but $93.50 to the
cost of a four barrel setup. Rochester fuel injection was also offered,
but that was $500 extra! The regular tripower setup yielded 300 horsepower. You have to
love the color matched interior, and all that chrome! There was an obvious
rocket, horizontal on the side of this car! Only in America!
1957 Pontiac StarChief Catalina

Player with Sirrus Satellite in the glove box with 2 rear floor mounted
speakers & one 6 x 9 up front. Original 347 V8, 3 speed on the column & 4
bbl. Rear gears made for climbing & highway driving.
1956 Pontiac Starchief Safari STK 1279
In 1954 the concept car Corvette Motorama was brought to the public to get
a reaction from the market. In 1955 Pontiac produced the Pontiac Star Chief
Safari to compete with the Chevrolet Nomad as they thought the sale
potential for a car like this was huge. In 1956, Pontiac only produced
4,042 Star Chief Safaris. This Safari has been slightly modified from the
way it came from the factory. Starting first off with the most striking
deviation the gorgeous orange and silver exterior paint scheme on this
Pontiac that is only 3 months old. Under the hood is a 1957 Corvette 283ci
V8 that has been bored .30 over with only 6,000 miles on it. Along with a
rebuilt TH350 with only 6,000 miles on it. The engine is cradled by a Camaro front subframe.
Inside is a supple tan interior with tilt steering wheel and AM/FM/Cassette
radio. To make this a fun vehicle to drive four wheel power disc brakes aid
in slowing this cruiser down. Power steering enables anyone to drive this
vehicle with ease. Custom aluminum wheel and wide white wall tires set the
look of this amazing machine. You do not see many of these Pontiac Safaris
around so do not let this one get away.
1959 Pontiac Star Chief
Here's a cool old 59 Star Chief sedan I saved from being cut into a couch.
A little cleaning and a tune-up, and it is a fully functioning car again.
Gotta love Craigslist!

The 268 cubic inch straight eight engine has been completely rebuilt and is
professionally detailed right down to the correct engine decals. The
transmission is the 4 speed Hydramatic and functions properly. The choke

Red repaint is awesome and the chrome shines brighter than the paint! Top
power convertible top functions properly Options on this Starchief are AM
radio that works, power convertible top, power brakes, 2 tone full leather
interior, optional under seat heater/defroster, special Bolero Red exterior
paint, white convertible top, working under hood light, convertible top

The tires are the bias ply style with wide whitewalls and those are in
great shape also. The underneath of this car is clean and detailed. In 2010
this Pontiac took 3 first place wins at the World of Wheels, and two first
place wins at the Pheasant Run Pontiac Show. There is over 250,000 into
this restoration! 1954 was the last year of the Pontiac Straight 8 engine.
Pontiac StarChief was the only Pontiac convertible offered in 1954. Total
Pontiac Star Chief production was 115,088 according to the standard catalog
so using 4% of total production gets convertible production at 4,604 cars.
Using 5% gets 5,750 convertibles. So about 5,000 54 StarChief convertibles
were produced. This 1954 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible can be seen at

1956 Pontiac Star Chief Safari
This was the top of the line! It was Pontiac's equivalent to Chevy's
Nomad! The Nomad seemed to have all the publicity...it's time now to give
this great car the credit that it richly deserves! A/C has to be very rare
in this car. The design is typically Pontiac, with its unique two tone
color combinations. You could tell cars apart back in the day!!
Big Burnouts: 1964 Pontiac Catalina Safari - /BIG MUSCLE
If you haven't figured it out by now, we love wagons on this show. To some
they're a misunderstood breed, but to those in the know, they're amazing.
Not only were the wagons of yesteryear known for their styling, but their
capacity to haul as much cargo as a modern day pickup. This 1964 Pontiac
Catalina Safari started off life as a Police Wagon, but was transformed by
its owner into the kick-ass, tire-shredding monster you see here. With a
Nelson Racing Engines 468 cid big-block under the hood, some updated
suspension bits and a killer look, this big green machine is
outside-the-box styling at its best.
