Tuned by Les Collins and Peter McDonnell: Triple 44mm Mikuni carbs with 39mm chokes, 88mm SPS forged flattop pistons, FJ spool rods, high lift electromotive grind cam, SWR tuned headers, SWR CNC ported E88 head. 10.5 to 1 compression, 7kg flywheel. 284 fwhp.

* Brand new 44PHH Mikuni carb's (Ø40mm choke)
* JE domed forged Ø89mm pistons
* Spool forged rods, 140mm long
* TWM inlet manifold and cold air intake
* ATI harmonic balancer
* Wade cam. PMC spec, 76° 0.59 lift
* Race prepped crank
* Recurved and mechanised Dizzy
* High volume oil pump
* ARP everything
* Stewart Wilkins adjustable cam gear, valve springs and high sided
* AEM O2 wideband
* Lurchos baffled and winged sump
* NC block girdle
* Genie extractors/headers with 2.5" Exhaust

Datsun 260Z first start after rebuild 720p
In this video i give you a quick look at the motor being dropped into my
Datsun 260Z and the first start up after sitting lifeless for more then 26
years! Also i take it for a drive!

Running a set of rebuild SU carbuerators
First start up of Frankenstein L28 with triple Mikuni's
This is a second hand rebuilt L28 engine I picked up. It that has 2mm
oversize flat top Toyota pistons (hence "Frankenstein"), 74 deg cam,
re-curved mech advance electronic dizzy, extractors with 2.5" Exhaust and triple Mikuni carbies on a Cannon
manifold. This is the first start up of it once installed and the tuning is
up the shit, but at least it ran. The smoke is from the Exhaust paint curing and is no big deal, looks
bad but that is normal for the paint to bake on.
