Ducati scrambler 350 '74 modello convervato. Gli unici pezzi sostituiti sono: ammortizzatori posteriori (anni 80), fanale, strumentazione, forcelle, valvole aspirazione e scarico, dischi frizione, corona, pignone, catena e il borsello laterale. Tutto il resto è completamente originale. Nell'80 è stata fatta la classica modifica di passare dall'accensione elettronica all'accensione classica a bobina.

Got this lovely Ducati but a flooding problem in my garage means its got to go. It starts up first kick from cold and ticks over lovely, but I can only get about 10 yards then it cuts out. I suspect Italian electrics are to blame. Pretty though, isnt it?

Essere scrambleristi non è da tutti! Mettere in moto il suo mono a coppie coniche richiede un po' di esperienza e di conoscenze meccaniche. Comunque anche i meno esperti, dopo un paio di settimane con la caviglia dolorante, imparano. Mettere la moto sul cavalletto centrale, aprire quello laterale per evitare di far toccare la leva di avviamento, trovare il punto di compressione, sfruttare tutta la corsa della leva messa in moto, tirare l'alzavalvole, agire sulla leva e lasciare repentinamente l'alzavalvole... Se candela, carburatore e anticipo d'accensione sono a posto, il gioco è fatto!

On a cold Sunday there were 4 lowsides that I knew of, this is the video for two. Sorry for the shaky footage (more details below) CBR600RR - Q2 Tires, track bodywork ziptied together. Rider was on cold tires moments before lowside. Pressures were also too high for the weather. No injury to rider, just cosmetic damage to the bike. Ducati Panigale - 1199s was a rental from racyrentals.com, rider was from out of town and only had two days on the bike. bike was damaged heavily from frame, forks, wheels & bodywork. Rider only had minor bruises and road rash to right forearm. Bike carried full coverage from rental so a $2500.00 vehicle waiver will be charged for the damage.
