I'm a T-6 paraplegic driving the 06 300C SRT8 with hand controls. It has a Diablo tune, AFE 2 CAI, and resonator deletes. That's roughly 700.00 in total mod costs.lol I Dyno tuned it last year at West Bend Dyno and put down 405rwhp.
It was in the high 40's last night so the track was NOT hooking well with the minimal prep on test n tune night. My 60's were horrible 2.17s-2.19's on my 20" yokohama parada spec x suv tires. They are great rain and snow tires, but ain't the best for the track.lol I need to invest in some stickier tires and get some more track time.
As far as the GT500, I'm guessing the high 40's temps plus street tires makes for a challenging holeshot. Very nice GT nonetheless. I definitely wouldn't mind having one in my garage.

03 Cobra vs. 2008 300C SRT8
Pulley, CAI, Offroad exhast on my Cobra and CAI, and Exhaust on the 300C! Track was terrible and very hot and humid day. Plus my tires were way past done!
Shelby GT500 vs Chrysler SRT8
Gt 500 has few boltons but much less than what the chrysler srt8 had. I know this because I used to know the car, so he was surprised that a simple looking gt smoked him.

2006 CHRYSLER 300C SRT-8 vs 5.0 MUSTANG GT AT LEBANON VALLEY DRAGWAY
This is my buddy Jeff's Mustang. Stock bottom end 302ci with Aluminum Heads, Aftermarket Intake Manifold, Headers, 3.55's, Slicks and bolt ons. The car still needs to be re-tuned since the aluminum heads went on but he is working his way into the 12's soon.
My car is a 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8 with stock engine, underdrive pulley, cai, nitto drag radials, catback with high flow midpipes and Diablosport Tune. I ran the car all motor against him because we knew it would be a tight race and it was.
