2013 Chevy Corvette v Camaro ZL1 v Porsche Cayenne S Mile Mashup Review

( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and the crazy fast Camaro ZL1 are two of the fastest American made cars that you can buy today. In fact many would say that these two cars represent the very best in American sports performance and modern muscle. So why would we mash them up in a 0-60 MPH performance test and review at a mile above sea level with a new Porsche Cayenne S crossover and perhaps more importantly which of these cars is after. You'll have to watch this video to find out.

2013 Lexus GS 350 vs GS450h 0-60 MPH Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Lexus GS 350 AWD and the new GS450h hybrid are at the forefront of redefining the Lexus brand as more sporty and less staid. But while the hybrid gets much better fuel economy it is also much more expensive. So of course we not only wanted to find out which of these two cars is the better buy, but perhaps more importantly which one is more sporty. In other words, which one is faster to 60 MPH. Check out this Mashup Review as we put the newest Lexus and Lexus Hybrid to the test.

2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Drive & Review: The Fastest Daily Driver Ever
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Camaro ZL1 is the fastest and most powerful production Camaro ever built by Chevrolet. But you probably already knew that. What you might not know is that this almost 600 horsepower car is really a pussy cat to drive. In fact if it got better gas mileage you could easily use it as a daily commuter. It is that easy and relaxed to drive even though under the hood is the supercharged beating heart out of the Cadillac CTS-V. In this review we get to know the fastest production Camaro that GM has ever built by spending a week with it and using it as a daily driver.

2013 Chevy Equinox v Ford Explorer v Jeep Grand Cherokee Off-Road Mashup AWD Tech Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Chevrolet Equinox and the Ford Explorer and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Overland don't have a lot in common. However all three of these vehicle have a very different approach to powering all four wheels, in other words, they all have one form or another of all-wheel-drive and terrain management technology. We thought it would be interesting, informative and fun to try these three very different AWD vehicles off-road in a real world test to see which one can best handle our Colorado Mountain off-road terrain. In this battle of 4X4 people haulers we take all three vehicles up our standard rugged Colorado trail to see which one can make it all the way to the top. Check out another fun and real world TFLcar Mashup test as we get wet, muddy and rocky in this off-road AWD technology comparison and review.

2012 Chevy Volt versus Nissan Leaf Mash-up Drag Race
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 plug-in Chevrolet Volt and the new all electric Nissan Leaf are not what most people would consider performance cars. In fact they are designed to get people from point A to point B using the least amount of energy and burning the least amount of oil. If you think about it...in some ways they are the ultimate economy cars but that doesn't mean they can't be fun to drive. To determine which of these two new revolutionary cars is the better performance machine we put them to the test the good old fashioned way: with an electric car drag race. So which one is faster? Watch the video to find out.

Lingenfelter Camaro ZL1 Tops 200 MPH! - Hot Rod Unlimited Episode 7
On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, HOT ROD Editor In Chief David Freiburger drives the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Camaro ZL1 to 202 mph, making it the first 2012 ZL1 to exceed 200 mph. This very same ZL1 in the exact same configuration (save for wheels and tires and the rollcage) was also the first to run 10s in the quarter mile. The ZL1 Camaros were first delivered to the public in early April, making 580 hp from their supercharged, 6.2L, LSA engines. Within days of delivery, Lingenfelter had its ZL1 making 720 hp at 6,500 rpm and 650 lb-ft at 4,650 rpm, both measured at the rear tires. The performance parts are all from Lingenfelter: CNC-ported cylinder heads, a GT9 camshaft, a ported Supercharger cover, overdrive blower pulleys, a cold-air kit, 63-lb/hr fuel injectors, a voltage Booster for the fuel pump, a 160-degree thermostat, and tuning. The entire package, installed, is $11,495. Everything else on this manual-trans car is stock. The performance testing was done with 109-octane VP fuel and 15 psi Boost. On April 18, 2012, the Lingenfelter ZL1 ran 10.79 at 134.36 mph at Muncie Dragway in Indiana. That was on drag wheels and tires. On April 30, 2012, the car was delivered to the Continental Tire Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas. Shod with Continental Extreme Contact tires on the original ZL1 wheels, the Camaro was tested on the 8-1/2-mile oval. The three-lane surface is like a road rather than a race track, the turns are not banked, and there are a few elevation changes. During the top-speed run, Freiburger pulled 0.4 to 0.5 g at 190-plus mph in the sweeping turns, then held it down for nearly 40 seconds on the pull from 190 to 202.67 mph before lifting to avoid cresting a small hill at corner entry at 200-plus mph. The car had not reached terminal velocity. Conditions included a head/crosswind, ambient temperatures in the 90s, and a density altitude of 3,280 feet. The Camaro was aerodynamically stock except for some tape over the front brake-duct openings in an attempt to channel more air through the stock air-to-water Intercooler, as the water was reaching temps in the 250s during prolonged periods of WOT, leading to hot inlet air and reduced power. Naturally, the comments here will lead to the upcoming ยน13 Ford Mustang GT500, with claims of 200 mph capability in bone stock trim. A stock Camaro ZL1 will run 185 mph. Will the GT500 be faster than the Lingenfelter ZL1? Until someone shows up at the same track on the same day with both cars and a single driver, no one will know. Meanwhile, we present the first ZL1 to eclipse the double century mark. See more at Lingenfelter.com and HotRod.com.
